I had already said that FOC now means Mk1A configuration hence all the delay. Earlier FOC was to be achieved by 2014 then shifted to 2015 and now 2018 end. Why? Because new foc standards which is Mk1A. There could also be engine change to f414 in Mk1A as there are no new orders for f404 and f414 have started to arrive..Based on my discussions with people in the 'Tejas community' it seems increasingly likely that MK-1A production may begin with the 21st HAL series production unit itself.

ELTA 2052 could be used, which are already in service now with Jaguars. All testing done and are proven radars also software from current ELTA 2032 could be used. Who knows they maybe already testing it. Nowadays no information is coming out of Weapons testing facilities like earlier. Everything is secretive now. Was anybody here aware about INS Arighat coming, it came out of blue and where has INS Aridhaman gone..........Not gonna happen at all, They haven't even chosen the AESA radar. I will be satisfied even if they get FOC by the year-end.

If EL/M 2052 could be integrated with Jaguar without much fuss, why can't the EL/M 2032 be integrated with Tejas within an year?Apple and Oranges. Advanced technology vessel has always been a black project since the 1990s with a very few media exposure and rightly so.
As far as MK1-A is concerned

Can we expect 21 st aircraft in second quater of 2019 ?

True. All the extra modifications they have agreed on shall take at least 3-4 yrs.I am not saying it can' be but they have floated a global RFP and if they had to select ELTA-2052 only then why would have done it already. MK1-A is not just about ASEA but there are about 65 internal modifications to be made and reports are coming that there will be some external modifications as well to reduce the drag, which wasn't the case earlier.
And I really don't think they are going to achieve all this in one year. What I think is that they will stick to plan and deliver the rest of the LCAs in 2-3 years and then start producing MK1-As.
You last mentioned that there would be hardly any changes between the Mk2 & the Mk1a.The IAF's Mk2 may see quite a bit of changes compared to what it is now.
YES IT WILL, because it does not exist physically. The IAF's Mk2 may see quite a bit of changes compared to what it is now.

Has the IN committed any nos a la the IAF ?The Mk2 is still in design stage. It can go anywhere.
They are already working on a bigger better N-Mk2. So something similar to the N-Mk2 may replace the original AF-Mk2.
Can't say anything yet.
