This looks logical, if CO and others were injured/killed there was no way reinforcements were not called. That's why that Aarti Tikko's tweet look scandalous. If they take away hostage, situation won't cease and to say they are threatening to throw them over cliff! Seems more fiction than anything real.
I was very spectical about this from day one. This is why I was saying they will come forward and like always capture a lot of land and water resources. I think one IA battalion was surrounded and captured where the soldiers tried their best to retaliate. Their communication was broken and many were taken captives. Chinese mounted assault with over 5000 men?

total casualties on Chinese side are 40 to 50 ?? then expect casualties on our side also in double digits. Very bad moment.

Guys this is perfect fog of war. Things are quite serious, and the causalities can be higher on both the sides. You look at the deliberations between the govt officials and army can be a hint. Even now we do not have concrete time line for an official statement.
The reason is simple, things are not resolved, and there are things which is not been spelt yet. They want to clear it off before making any statement, and do not want to create a pressure for themselves.

I don't think there were 1000 men at the front post or patrol, not more than 500, or just one platoon. Where as Chinese outnumbered IA as they came in one regiment. But seems IA has been able to hit back hard as well. This is pure lack of Intel failure like always!! Why they didn't have any info on chinese plan??? That's the major question!!!

This seems to convey that the entire incident was a shoving match on a narrow ridge & that the casualties were on account of falls into steep ravines which ensued on account of that shoving on both sides.
This still doesn't account for how were our personnel taken prisoner if reports are considered to be true & how & why did this incident occur when the armies on both sides were de escalating. Something just doesn't add up.
Moreover, I wonder what's meant by de escalation? Does this mean restoration of status quo ante or does this imply that barring Galwan Valley, the fingers & Pangong Tso both armies withdraw from all areas while the situation in this area is being negotiated.

Not really...... Chinese selected the time perfectly..... US is stuck with corona and internal trouble wrt racist killing......... Chinese want us to deal with them directly....... and we will do taht.... I dont thnk we need uncle sam to tell us what to do in LAC........ Yes US is going to play its part.... Trump will be briefed by CIA in a while...... they have better sat data than india and chinese put togehter.....
If government de - escalate from here I will never vote for BJP again. I will stop voting altogether as there is no alternative.

I don't think it was just a push battle over a ridge or atleast the number 200-300 he's quoting is exaggerated. If our casualties are in 50s ,why has IA accepted only 3. And if they wanted to hide it they could have hidden CO death.
What i feel the truth is , we got outnumbered , clashed , taken hostage , intervention , release , further negotiation
