Again wait for the final statement by IA, it is also possible that China used guns.
If they do that, that cannot paint the incident to be initiated by India which in the current scenario they are doing.
This is what they wanted, question is, at what price.
Depends on lot of stuff -
for starters, what exactly happened & how IA retaliated.

I have ONE single suggestion for THIS forum. That is simple. DO NOT discuss "This AESA", "That Technology" etc etc etc etc etc etc. All those are worthless and very distant seconds.

To really discuss defence with respect to India, CRITICALLY examine Dabba Wallas mainly and to a lesser extent Khadi walla and 56 inch walla.

No weapon fires itself. No drone files till a dabba clears its flight. To understand ANY and ALL thing defence we should pry open the dabba see what is cooking inside. We need profiles of Dabba Wallas from south block together with turtles and dildos.

These are the folks who take weapons away from the hands of the soldiers. Unless they let the soldiers to soldiering any thing else is meaningless to be discussed. And TEADEFs WAMCAs, DHIMCAs etc are not worth unless you understand how dabba is going to allow it to fight or not.

We don't know the details of what's transpired out there. Since 1 am, we've had multiple sources issue conflicting statements. It started with 3 casualties & now it's anywhere between 20-40 with a few missing / PoW. It started as skirmishing without guns, then we're told sticks & stones were used, then daggers. Finally we're told a melee occurred on a Cliff's edge followed by reports of a gunshots. Whom do we believe?

It seems that PLA plan was to kill CO and make IA troops run back using arty and thereby claim whole of Galwan valley. Their aim was invasion to capture valley. It seems too many IA and PLA troops got engaged in narrow valley thereby leading to fall of many.

Only our swollen strength beat back this PLA wave.

Most humbly sir, this is NOT about numbers. This is not about I killed X, you killed Y. This is about this shit which is going on for sometime.

1. Our soldiers are NOT allowed to do soldiering and their weapons taken away and put in dubbas by dubbawallas from south block.

2. "Diffuse" "De-Escalate" "Peace" "Trunquility".

These are the two things that in my humble opinion should pinch us HARD. There is casualty in war and there is slaughter with hands tied. This shit suggests the later. On top of it, the message is : "Diffuse" "De-Escalate" "Peace" "Trunquility". That is *censored*ed up.

There will be a very strong retaliation. The CO died in front of his troops whom he commanded. Paltan kee Izzat ka sawaal hai. There will be retribution and a very violent one. heads will be brought back. Most member may not remember that it was PLA which started the game of taking heads as trophies in 1962.
It seems that IA and other two services have told RM & PM that they can take over complete Aksai Chin. IA likely to be given free hand to decide on the future course of action at a time and place of its choosing. This time surgical strike medicine will be given to Chinese Lizards.
IMHO, GOI must announce Mobilisation. All men between 18-40 to report for recruitment and recall all reservists asap. Let us show these chinese their place under the sun.

May be Chene plan to divert our attention to Aksai Chin and planning something somewhere? I do not believe this X*&^%$ at all.

I highly doubt a surgical strike will work against PLA for -
1) They know we did this to Pak, they will be ready.
2) The terrain & location where they are, sending is SF like para dropping them behind Chinese lines will be damn difficult & suicidal.

It has to be a full f2f confrontation & the fallen CO has to avenged by decimating the Chinese build up there.
