south bank of PT is very important for China as the lay of the land gives them shelter from any attack from North as they are on the reverse slopes of the mountains in North Bank. As to the question of what more do I want -
1) Acknowledgement of the physical scuffle that took place OR didn't take place - a categorical statement without any ambiguity.
2) According to Chinese official statement, they didn't cross the LAC - as always. As presented by media, our official statement makes no effort to put out details like - they tried to come in with their mechanised force/APCs? Whom does this help?
Now the question to you is - what are we hoping to achieve by our silence on these details which paints China as the aggressor ?
The intentions are important. We are trying for a detente with daily talks and they are responding on the ground with real actions. And they are getting away without suffering.
