Line of Actual Control (LAC) : India & Tibet Border Updates

Why are we always looking for somebody else to rescue us? Why should US or other countries fight our battle?
If a country of 1.3 billion with 1.3 million strong army cannot defend itself, then we deserve to loose our territory!!

When he speaks of the US, he's talking from China's perspective, not India's.

He is saying the Chinese will attack when they feel they are safe from an American threat, not that India needs US help. And that is when the US is distracted by COVID and the elections.

The Chinese attacked India in the past when the Cuban Missile Crisis started and backed out the moment the crisis ended.

Problem with this analysis is that none of the countries can produce any evidence of who did what. So both side will cry hoarse with no one gaining any legitimacy. Who fired first? Who knows? India should explode a small charge and blame it on Chinese artillery or better yer Chinese airforce -- after all there is no evidence of any of these things. By hiding their casualty and later being proven by pictures posted on Chinese websites, Chinese have already lost their PR battle. No one in the world believes their laughable propaganda.

I am yet to see a video of Chinese backtracking after a hand combat , with the Chinese starting their leaks which shows Indian army going back ....its high time we too return the favour by releasing the one we have .

And what exactly will the video achieve. I would any day prefer taking control of Depsang and Pangong completely pushing them off beyond the fort, instead of a video showing a boxing match. Then the OSINT guys can release photos of our troops sitting on top with sat images. Let the Xi bear then explain what happened to all those videos.

It all depends on political objective. If such an operation is to be mounted, it has to be done with immaculate precision and planning along with GoI not being content and too comfortable with the current situation. It is just a matter of time before the Chinese try to take back the high grounds that IA captured/re-occupied. IA has to continue being aggressive and constantly keep changing the status quo in our favour. I totally agree with your opinion, but for that to happen, we have to act swift and fast. That needs both GoI and Army leadership to be in sync about the ultimate objective. Let's hope our commanders get that clarity soon.
All eyes on Jaishankar, for now.

The depsang front is unusually silent. No info coming out of that region. Plus we are not trying anything against the Chinese there. Pagong tso seems to be to most important front compared to the other points. We need to retake depsang and Demchok whatever these chinis have taken in control...

This also clearly suggests there is a power tussle going on in the party
Yes. That is the point. You are absolutely correct.
China is a fragmented ,deeply contradicted, and flawed leadership, just trying to hold everything together.

According to this article by Lt Gen H S Panag (retd) , IA also occupied a 40 KM stretch of kailash range from Razing la to Dumchele

We have seen on the Western front how India's diplomatic, political and military has acted like a symphony. Surgical Strike, Balakot, Kashmir and action on LOC are the proof of the pudding.

Be assured, that this time we will not let our student fail, we will teach China a great lesson which it will remember for life.
