It seems that the current major issue is that China has militarized Kailsh mansarovar from all sides and GoI is trying to dislodge that. A nice analysis by Sandeep deo
I was aware of this as well.
For reference, there was a test called "Atomic Annie" which tested a nuclear shell. However, the point is, I was speaking of feasibility, having a nuclear warhead on a rocket artillery will have two major problems
- The miniaturisation of the warhead, I am not sure if such miniaturisation is possible. Experts can say that.
- The range, which was pointed out by @vstol Jockey
Never underestimate war. Its like a wild fire and once it gets HOT. It gets really hot. Right now, both India and China are playing with fire. It's funny to read about nukes and all when both forces are fighting with fists and batons. To put in crude language, Chinese phattus couldn't fathom gumption to engage in firefight and yet we are worried about BMs, CMs and nukes. PLA never came for conflict, it's us who are rising the stakes according to our past behavior on which China made current move. It's now riding a mad bull that it got on willingly but now bull is running wild and Xi doesn't know how to disembark. This reminds me of prior 2016 times when if we moved a finger against Paxtan in response to terrorist attacks, it will be armageddon.
There are many escalation levels before missiles comes into play and I doubt virgin PLA and Xi has nerves to go to that level. I even doubt we have a defined escalation matrix for use of missiles against China and vice versa.
This is all extreme binaries that exist in our heads. I bet even if we take Aksai hind and mansarovar that nukes will ever come into equation.
These inflated egos and stature only needs a pin to deflate, corner an enemy and dare him to put money where his mouth is.
Expecting businessmen to fight wars
G***d mein dum nahi, hum kisi se kam nahi.
My favourite is this one : AIM-26 Falcon - WikipediaA 400Km range artillery is basically a missile in the same class as the Prithvi. Like the American ATACMS, which is basically like a smaller version of the Prithvi fired from the M270.
It has all the space necessary to carry a nuke. Nuclear warheads and quite small and light even for large yields. Many of them are the size of basketballs and beach balls. The 350kT W78's reentry vehicle is about 1.8m long and 0.5 m in diameter shaped as a cone, the actual bomb is obviously much smaller than that.

We have Pakistanis and Chinese who are doing it.Soviets and US forces tried it and realised that it also causes problems for their own troops. While your statement is correct, the use of arty for nuke delivery has been discontinued. As of now no nation deploys nukes thru arty.
My favourite is this one : AIM-26 Falcon - Wikipedia
Yes people, its a A2A missile. And it has a nuke. It weighs 92 kg in total -- missile and warhead. And its yield was a sub KT one.
Cold war was a crazy time, they were putting nuke EVERY god damn where. There was a rumor about nuclear hand granade. But thanks god it was just that. A rumor.
The largest conventional explosive till date is Russian FOAB with tnt equivalent of 44 tonnes. This little beauty had a yield of 250 tonnes of tnt. I suspect its goal was to take outImagine one of that exploding near a squadron!!
I knew about Davy-Crockett but
I was not aware of this one.
We have Pakistanis and Chinese who are doing it.
Chinese have a long range arty that is rumored to have a nuclear round. (Has Pakistan bought Chinese SH-15 Howitzer for its 'miniaturized' nuclear shells?)
Pakistan have Nasr, which is essentially a nuclear rocket arty.
We can put a Tactical Nuke Warhead on
Pinaka Guided Rockets
USA too is doing it, although in a different domain. They have recently placed 2kiloton yield warheads in their submarines. Defence experts described those nukes as something which is actually intended to be used in a conflict instead as deterrent. We have Pakistanis and Chinese who are doing it.

The question has no answers. You need someone like @Narendar Singh to answer such a questions. But I am sure you won't get an answer.Has DRDO succeeded in miniaturization of nukes?

It seems that the GOC of 3rd Div in Depsang is the son of my ex CO of INS Sindhudurg from Op Brasstacks of Feb 1987. And the latest news that I have with me is that the situation in Depsang is not as bad as we all thought. PLA has blocked Y-Junction but we have gone in and occupied much larger territory even in Depsang with our armour. However the situation is very fluid. We are in their area and they are in our area. If the balloon goes up, PLA will be blasted to dust. It seems the Div commander of PLA in Depsang has probably never ever been in such a situation and his deployment is extremely stupid. IA can do to them what it did to PA in Khemkaran in 1965.
Global Times and other CCP motor mouths having a tough time managing the local & international narrative!
This is nice to see.
