Line of Actual Control (LAC) : India & Tibet Border Updates

Why should we do that? Our jawans are getting to hear songs for free.

We should hand over the mic to the jawans after rum rations maybe... Chinese will get an earful.

Jokes apart, what stops us from playing - the anthem of Taiwan. That will be a nice trigger and the Chinese will immediately come looking for a meeting

BTW, pakistan made a grave mistake by provoking Ajit Doval in the SCO meet. Now they are gonna have to eat a bitter fruit as a result. Jab geedarh ki maut aati hai to vo shehar ki taraf bhaagta hai. Their map will definitely change now, hopefully China's as well.

The stupidity of South block and Jai Shankar

I usually do not agree with Brahma Challeney, but this time he is right.

The term "border areas" appear in joint statement too much. While LAC does not. Who the hell agreed with this joint statement?

I wonder if Taiwan and Hong Kong songs should be played together with Japanese songs from World War 2 celebrating victory over China and love of Nanjing.

Copybook deception or at least an attempt as @Jaymax was describing out of an episode from Chinese history called the Chu Han contention.

Frankly, I lost a little respect for the Chinese & the PLA for replicating an episode from their history without adapting it to the situation.
Those chus must be literal chutyas if they lost because of listening to too much music..

What's stopping us from playing tibetan independence songs? Deal psy ops with psy ops. Enough with morality. Kisi ka jaagir nahi hai morality. GoI must learn what dealing with China means. If we behave like Mohandas Gandi, they will slap the shit out of us.

I agree. Give Rum to our Sikh and Jaat Soldiers let them blurt out gaalies in their language. A gaali in punjabi or Haryanavi has far better impact than anyother Indian Language. PLA will surely use their translaters to decipher what has been spoken.
If you want to plead or be humble, nothing beats Tamil as they include lots of melodrama also with tears and all. But Gaali should only be in Punjabi or Haryanavi.

The Chu soldiers thought the enemy were composed of Chu soldiers, so they assumed that Chu had already fallen.

In our case, I think it must be a way to boost the morale of their own troops. "Look, we Han are blasting enemy music to enemy soldiers like we did to the Chu, so you must stay strong because the enemy is on the verge of collapsing, just like the Chu did".

So what's entertainment to our soldiers is a morale-boosting technique to their soldiers.

The way the PLA has responded against IA reminds me of that India today cartoon..

They are literally repeating this. And this video was made during doklam..

Our biggest problem with China in negotiations is we are expecting them to negotiate like the west.

Both sides discuss issues, look for middle ground and close the deal.

China does not negotiate like that. China wants an unsettled border with India. It keeps India on the edge. Any agreements you get out today are junk tomorrow.

Chinese respect resolute force. Not once or twice but as a norm. Mao tried acting funny with the Soviets. They brought in DIVISIONS of artillery and shook the earth. Chinks did not come back for years until the USSR broke up and took the disputed areas.

India needs to give up any hopes of brotherly peace with China and treat them as barbarians. Beat them silly each time they show up on the border.

They sincerely believe their status is so high that only the US has the right to "negotiate" with them. All others must do as they are told.

They are simply trying to project their social hierarchy onto everybody else.
