If we look at the escalation of Ladakh war to air and IOR, China would have lost majorly. An all out war is what China is not willing to fight in all domains as it will have all its neighbours joining the war effort against it with India as the Fulcrum. You can never ever fight a war against an army which is made of volunteers who get selected from lakhs of aspirants and a conscript army. Russia realised it and went for a Professional army. Indian armed forces are the largest Volunteer force on earth. The level of motivation of a volunteer is way way above any conscript or forced to be soldier army. Superior toys have no value, those who play with those toys matter. 1965 and 1971 are a proof of that.
