Artificial Intelligence based Cognitive EW is the way to counter unknown signals on the fly. I doubt SPECTRA can achieve this without GaN update.

That's for DRFM-based jamming. Active cancellation as explained by Picdel, that's on Rafale, doesn't require sampling.

But the way the link explains it, AC requires sampling on the Typhoon.

36+26 = 62. I expect the original number of 124 to be filled by Rafale. LCA (Mk1 to Mk2) will come too. When we close in on the 42 squadron strength, the number of squadron sanctioned will cross 56.

LCA, Rafale, Su-30 will form the IAF fleet for the next 10 years in manned flight. Post 5 years, will see an speed up in the HAL CATS system. The invisible squadrons will come from CATS.

Again that incompetent mazagon dock.

@Picdelamirand-oil any news on follow on orders for IAF rafale?

Hope in near future India French-NATO-Israel collaboration in the field of defence will outpass indo Russian relationship.
Israel and France....hell yeah! NATO? Nope.

As for Russia? A hostile Russia is the last thing we want. @randomradio has explained explicitly why we need Russia. Read up his posts and enhance your knowledge.

Offtopic, but if you know the Slavic society you would know why they have had generations long conflict with the anglo (currently western/nato) bunch. And if you think they will be a puppet/second to China , a neighboring nuke capable country with established nuke silos, well you do not know them at all.

These so called defence journalists are not that savvy. Dont take their work. Two seater version dont magically appear.

Indian Navy to get 26 Rafale-M fighters and three attack submarines from France

All the 26 fighters will be single-seater versions with Indian Navy pilots being trained in France as well as on advanced simulators in Goa. All the French Navy pilots flying Rafale-M on aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle have been trained on simulators as a twin-seater means reduction in the armament carrying capacity of the fighter. It is understood that one squadron (18 fighters) will be onboard INS Vikrant and the remaining eight will be based in Goa as reserves for rotation.
