Norway's national past-times are pretty simple. Skiing, sailing and shooting... and pizza. Lots of pizza.

Army sponsored National Rifle Championship.

Not the most flashy of kit, but an important piece in countering Russian subsurface operations in the Baltic and North and Norwegian Seas.

Looks like a cross btw german shepherd and belgian malinois. German shepherds have high temperament but easy to train, malinois are hyperactive and have better judgment but take longer to train. I have only seen this cross as pets until now never seen one in action, they mostly get rejected in very early stages. :)

My grandfather bred these back in the 70's and used them for hunting wild boars (The A1 was from France). The funny thing was this breed wasn't ever heard of in India until recently when NSG started to buy them from Israel. It was big news for the Indians.

I honestly couldn't tell you what breed they are. I thought we used German Shepherds and Belgian Tervurens mainly, labs, spaniels, bernards and newfoundlands historically, but I'm not sure exactly what breed was brought with NORTAD to Mali. It's whatever this dog is.

We train malinois, but they aren't as suited to the far north's climate as the other Belgian shepherd breeds or long-haired German shepherds.
