There is a limit to everything. Taking a break is easier said than done. By the way, chit chat thread is off limits for anything serious.
Coming back to the point, when people misbehave and no action is taken without giving a proper reasoning, there will be a backlash. Some moderators don't have the ability to reason. Such people must retire.
Most important rule is - Inconsistency must be considered as spamming. People who keep changing their stance pollute everything and spoil the discussion. Unless you have away of charging people for spamming in case of inconsistency, none of the measures will work.

Not faith, religion matters. Since people choose religion, not born with religion fed into the mind, religion comes under choice and hence is to be judged upon. The question is - why did you choose to have a religion? Nothing would have happened to you if you chose not to have one.
You need to revise the definition of jihad to make use of that word consistently. In dharma the concept is of "dharmayoddha". Dharma is not a religion as there is no founder or a non editable holy book.
Your concepts of religion and faith are pretty alien to me.
A Zoroastrian is born into his or her faith. And invested into it before he or she reaches puberty.
You cannot choose to be a Zoroastrian.
That choice was made by Ahura Mazda.

Conversion in real sense does not exist as hinduism is not a rigid religion and there are no rules. You simply become hindu, not convert.
well that's what they do. Fill the forum with low quality posts. Between that and callin nair incompetent they should be given permanent ban. They are questioning the intention of the forum. For no reason other than people of India choosing to move away from BJP, they have converted their political views into personal attacks. At this rate if BJP loses an election, they might go after esteemeed members like nair with iron rods. Shameless to say the least.

First of all, who gave the name Ahura Mazda? How did you come to know of Ahura Mazda? Who taught you about zoroastrianism? Were all this information given to you by birth just like babies have natural instincts? If you don't have faith by birth but because your parents brainwashed you, should you not be angry at your parents for misusing the trust and feeding information without any basis or evidence?
Again, before Zuruthrastha, there was no zoroastrianism. So, how can you call it as natural choice?

See @Shashank , instead of participating in any form of constructive debate they are constantly lowering the quality of the forum with useless posts. One guys writes an entire set of garbage on the one line ‘I have not questioned a ban’. Another guy brings in abusive references from another forum. Now explain to me how are you going to continue maintaining high quality with these people around? Only a concerted effort by people like us can save this forum.
