I do agree with certain concerns raised by @ManavantraTruti. Till just few weeks back, some so called legendary members were running an anti-India propaganda campaign over here, without much resistance. A particular gentleman had a visually free run in insulting any and every member who was slightly pro-Indian and none of the mods did anything to stop it. I was seriously thinking about dropping out of this forum when things started looking better. Forum quality is much better now even though there is a huge scope for improvement.

I was a member there only for three days but I use to follow the threads before it got radicalized to a point of no return two years ago. If I remember correctly it had international mods from India and China. Indian mods were removed but Chinese mods are still there. Those Chinese mods are still active and are the same once on sino defense forum wer Im a member for half a decade.

The only "international" mods, Chinese included, are those who are Muslim or have the concurrence of the ISI and their Arab sponsors.

No Indian has ever been a mod.

Along the way you also learn stuff about your own countrymen that leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

The good thing is, you are always learning.

Most of the new crowd are super techie.

While I've noticed the old guys were more into people.

It might not be my place. I wouldnt do this. Reasons are you would force him to dig deeper and seek to expose you more. Making it one of his life's purpose to humiliating you. I highly suspect that it wouldnt have escalated to him, announcing on twitter, if you had dealt with tact in the first place.
This seems the result of emotional arguments instead of ejecting the interview at the first sign of his hesitation. I might be wrong.
I would urge you to look at the big picture. He and you are on the same side in it. Would be smart to defend yourself and deescalate and not fight it out till the last man standing for ego's sake.

We will try not to make is a big issue but that guy made many things public and made many wild accusations. He even labeled shatrujit as a suspect.moreover he is the one who suddenly developed cold feet few hrs before the interview and then came up with all of this. Blocking anyone who is trying to reason with him in twitter. Anyways let bygones be bygones. Unless he escalates we will not take it to next lvl .
