TBH , I don't understand why does the GoI tolerate their presence here . All they do is fish in troubled waters, sensationalise news , highlight the lurid aspects , are totally condescending and still seem to bear the white man's burden .

Every country in the world have their fair share of problems such as race relations in the US, 'grooming gangs' & acid attacks in the UK. I don't see BBC coverage on any of these countries being limited to these issues alone.

That is exactly why I use the term atrocity literature- literature generated by Western interests with the explicit goal to show the target non-Western culture is committing atrocities on its own people, and hence in need of Western intervention. (definition by author Rajiv Malhotra)

Basically it's an old technique.

Back in the colonial era when most of their population were downright racist they portrayed us as uncivilized dark skinned heathens who must civilized.

Since that cannot be said today- most of them Brits it as politically incorrect (still not wrong, but just not PC)- they paint us as misogynistic, racist & everything that is despised by the liberal leftist crowd they serve.

Well media outlets do tend to cover the most obvious things. If you fix the problem they won't be able to cover it. Do you know how many times they've recovered the Stephen Lawrence case in the UK. They always pick up on stories of racism, it's what they do.

Sure, we all know how extensively they cover problems of numerous grooming gangs & acid attacks in the UK...oh wait they don't except giving it some nominal coverage.

Neither do they editorialize news when it comes to their home country, any Western nation or any country inhabited by 'liberal leftist certified victims' (read Muslims & Blacks).

But literally every incident of any henious crime in India is made international news and their entire reportage of India consists only of such news. And most of BBC's 'rape & murder news' comes from India.

Case in point- acid attacks. Britain have one of the highest incidence of acid attacks anywhere. Way too higher than India in absolute numbers let alone per capita. (Britain is one of the worst countries in the world for acid attacks per person, it has been revealed)

But their entire reportage of acid attacks comes from India (try googling this). Do you think we are stupid enough not to understand their agenda?

How many times do you see BBC covering murder & pedophilia from anywhere else, say US for instance ?

Only an idiot can come up with this 'solve your problems first propaganda'. In a country of 1.3 billion people, there is bound to be larger number of crimes. Using it to paint all the citizens of that country as some sort of savages is classic atrocity propaganda.
