Hard to rule Pakistan, when you are ruler you are humiliated everywhere, even tiny countries insult you left and right, military is another issue, whenever General saab is in mood you have to dance to his tunes and once you are done you have to live in exile or in jail or get killed.

This is how this godforsaken land treats own PM why should world treat them differently? Beijing Municipal Corporation have more powers and money than the people they are receiving, hence the Deputy, even she would have felt embarrassed to receive someone of much lower rank.

GDP of Beijing is more than that of entire Pakistan. In fact, Im the Dim should be honoured to meet her.

I think these people generally are a rabble rousing crowd so you expect them to make sensationalist videos about Pak anyway. But I think the recent trends are consistent. I somehow think it's not a given the IMF will bail them out. I think there is a big big dip coming. So opening a thread to track developments as they start plunging.

Let me invite @safriz and @Superkaif to provide their opinion on what is expected out of Pakistan economy, what could be done better and what are the major contribution factor which prompt Pakistan ask for bailout repeatedly.

The day IMF said they're going to grow at 2.5% a year until 2022 it became clear they're in deep, deep $hit. There is no news that China has waived off any repayments of the billions they are supposed to get in annual payments now. This is headed for a big big hit. Considering no one has yet despertely intervened to do anything...I think it's headed for the iceberg, even UK might be better off.... (wink @BMD)

it is the dollar rate that needs to be tracked because Pakistan 'officially' doesn't import much from India. click on the 5Y button on the link I sent you, it will stun you.

In that sense both INR and PKR devalued at same ratio against USD.

Its simple maths. In 2018 I could see 1 PKR = 2 INR and that ratio still maintains. If we see it against common entity USD, the ratio is intact.

You should be more interested in forward trajectory, if PKR keeps the recent one, then gap will widen.
