Pakistan Elections 2018 : News and Discussions

I can understand.
i can give you a second by second of outrage i felt ,anger i felt and the impotence of the UPA Govt. to not do anything, but label it as "HINDU TERROR" That was classic obfuscation! UPA created some imaginary HIndu terror while Islamic Terror was seen all over the world! Tell me again why should these UPA EXIST? I want to ask Congressis this question! are you all "KATUAS" there is no Hindu left in Congress Anymore!

it appears to me that first they will open up land route to india for trucks from Afghanistan while Indian Trucks will not be allowed in Pak. next i think they will open more border areas for trade with India. Pak economy has suffered massive loses as result of this stupid idea of banning Afghan trucks from going all the way to India bcoz even Afghanistan denied them entry to central Asia.

Fun story about the land route. Once Chabahar started working for India, the Pakistanis offered to open up the route again, but this time Afghanistan said no.

Now the Afghans are insisting their trucks be allowed all the way to the Indian border.

Tell me about it, i escaped Hyderabad Gokul Chat Bomb blast by Indian Mujahideen just by mere seconds a friend of mine died in that blast, his elder brother was in BSF and he was supposed to join the BSF soon, He went along with his fiancee, She wanted to take something home from that Gokul chat, and the home parcel is what my friend payed for with his life! I told my family i was going to eat some Bhelpuri and pick up some new PC game titles. Imagine the horror when your mobiles are blocked and there is no way to call your home to say you are safe!
☹️

Go through the complete series 1,2,3... you will see how military ruler ruled the country for so many years and how they betray each other ,For India this election will not change anything we understand ISI successfully did the transition of power from Nawaz Sharif a puppet to another puppet Imran Khan who will be good for another 10 years and then they will again blame the same Imran Khan and bring new puppet Bilawal Bhutto and the story will continue ...India will push Pakistan in all international forum as a terrorist country and there will be internal conflict in Pakistan as Punjabi will not accept this election.

Imran khan is neither disobedient nor a puppet. He is like the winklewoss brothers in the movie social network. He is not in it for power or to drive an agenda. He is in it because his perfect life dotted with Cambridge and numerous affairs with lovely women and captaining pak cricket team to a World Cup is incomplete if he doesn’t achieve the highest office of a country, simple as that. He is neither this nor that. He is what will get him there and keep him there

Are you forgetting the Chinese hand in this? FATF grey list i can understand! but somehow the PA thinks it can rescue its country from economic slump using jingoism! Pakistanis are not Japanese or duty bound Samurais! If you think that its for better of Bharat then why did they wait so long?
I never said that it is better for Bharat. All I said was that they are now going to use us to come out of the bankruptcy they are in.

For every gaumata lynching under this regime , pls refer to anti cow slaughter volunteers who were lynched by cattle smugglers under all previous regime or even under the last one . Where was the moral outrage expressed by the MSM or religious minorities ?

There is no equivalency here nor am I justifying the former but your pea brain being unable to comprehend complex issues would certainly recognise such binaries.

actually number of anti-gaumata people killed is miniscule in comparison to gaumata lynching. Terror is striking fear...killing people in the name of your pet household animal is gaumata terror.

...now let's see what Imran Khan Niazi will surrender

A Global Times article said Pakistan will achieve 9% growth through CPEC, so that's what the Pakistanis are dreaming about right now.

There's a phrase in colloquial Hindi spoken in Bombay which aptly describes this situation and will be readily recognised by Bombay ites - " isko kehte hain Jhinga daalke rawas pakadna."

They have increased outlay from 40 billion to 60 billion at 9% per annum. I swear India can never do this kind of harm to Pakistan. It looks to me that China has decided to fully screw them over.

Amazing to see the euphoria about PM of Pakistan in Indian media! Military backing, trade relations and what not! Seriously! This is coming from serious people!

PM in Pakistan is a glorified Mayor, that's it nothing more.

Anyone thinking Military propped him for some geo political thing is going way too far. This is standard practice of Pak Army to put politicians under thumb, except Gen. Kiyani who got compromised cuz of his brother no Gen in recent history let political leaders breath. They literally treat them like chaprasi and whenever in bad mood give good spankings.

If military somehow let Imran normalize relations with India whom they will blame to stay relevant or in power? A powerful politician is existential threat to military so no Imran won't have any say in defence and foreign policy like his predecessors. That's a red line and suppose this drug addict somehow try to cross this red line there are multiple cases pending against him including charges of terrorism. The day he goes off the hook he will be convicted.

Nawaz will be released after an year or so and cases against zardari will slow down too to keep presure against Imran and if that don't work the nuclear option is already there.

This has happened so many times in Pakistani politics that everyone knows this there I fail to understand why our jurno are so ignorant sometimes.

This guy sucks right?

He does not have the kind of experience necessary to run the country. Run anything in fact. He used to be a famous sportsman.

When it came to politics, he started off as a decent chap, but he realised that if he wanted to win in Pakistan, he's going to have to accept, at least publicly, all the stuff that's wrong in Pakistan. Radicalisation, blasphemy, Islamic rhetoric, bigotry etc. So he is now considered a hardliner.

There's also the issue about his close ties with the Pak Army, ISI, radicalized Islamic groups etc.

He may have personal issues too. Too many allegations of drug abuse, which could be true due to his celebrity status.

When it comes to serious political issues, his head's in the clouds. He has unrealistic expectations about foreign policy and security. He believes in having closer economic tries with India due to the demographic nightmare that Pakistan is facing. His number 1 priority is trade with India. But the core issue is Kashmir, without which we cannot move on, so let's see what he does there. He is not pro-US either. Overall, his expectations are a bit unrealistic.

Nawaz was very damaging to the army's power. Modi meeting him in secret, the Dawn leaks about the meeting between Nawaz and the army, Nawaz's open challenges to the army, and so on. So they removed him from the equation.

Oh you don't need to worry, no one expected any "pro-west," Pakistan guy was gonna get elected. Oh well, bigger(stupider) they are the harder they fall.

India-Pakistan ties are never going to be good in my life time.
