He won't go ,neither any senior minister will go

Infact no senior minister has said a word about Imran

Only MoS Singh said something about terror and retrieving PoK

All we need to do is activate the LoC and when they retaliate , just escalate it suddenly
Air strikes in POK would do wonders for PA
Morale

We can say that we are targeting posts which aid infiltration

And let the PAF intervene
Once they see F 16s turning back or crashing down

Another attack would definitely serve as the tipping point and give Modi the license to go all out. But such an opportunity has been presented several times. How long can we keep on taking on blow after the after and do nothing decisive about it? So much spent on arms but if they can’t be used in times of need then what is the need. I like Subramanian Swamy’s suggestion on how to deal with Pakistan. Such a thing can never happen under Congress, if this Govt also is able to do nothing then we will have to live with the problem till eternity.

Also should the intelligence inputs of terrorist camps coming up which can potentially launch attacks on us, not be enough to clean them up? What is the reason to wait until they do more damage?

During secret NSA talks between NSAs it was decided that India will not engage with PA directly and will only deal with civilian counterparts. IK is that civilian face of PA.

Never interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake.
The sham elections will ensure that there will always be political instability and economic growth will suffer. We should wait for 2 years to see the fruits of rigged elections.

why in the hell would you conduct Air strikes? those terror camps are nothing but few tents which will come up else where.
We are fighting a war of attrition , playing into their hands is last thing you would want to do. Pakistan destroyed Afghanistan by crippling their institutions , we can learn from them. We should let the rogues run the game, we should give them the feeling they are in control. It requires long term consistent subterfuge not knee jerk bombings.

We've been waiting for 25+ years since 1993. I've lost 2 college mates there. In the passport office blast.Not that those *censored*s were close to me. They belonged to a rival faction of the student fraternity. Plus they were my favourite minority.I should be glad , shouldn't I ?

Well I do understand your emotions but actions are performed over period of time. If you compare situation of 20 years back pakistan's propensity to conduct terror strikes in main land India has been severely restricted. Their ability to use ummah as spring board to cover up terror acts is on decline. It would not be surprising if it does not take place during our life time but again no empire was built in a day. India needs to keep focus on subterfuge than actions taken to satisfy our emotions.

I would rather say this is the right time to create a war like situation by mobilizing Akash sam, Tanks to border create an unwanted tension through media... show some footage of army movement and hit hard to their economy.

That would hit back on the political front for bjp. The opposition will attack saying the present government is just talk and doesn’t have the balls. Internationally india would be projected as weak will.

You either do it right or dont do anything. You can’t complain about contraception right before orgasm. Its bad manners

@vstol Jockey,

Since you are closer to the armed forces. Do you think in any way the shortfall in the no of squadrons of fighter jets is what is preventing us from taking any decisive action?

If you look at the recent Pakistani statements about peace with India ,

These are the Effect of the hammering they have been receiving after September 2016

Pakistanis have to be hit regularly to keep them in line

By hitting them we ie the armed forces gain
Something called Moral ascendency

Earlier the initiative was always with them

They could conduct terror attacks and get AWAY With it

Now the initiative is with us

The enemy must Always feel the pressure and the heat

Physical attacks wont have much effect, do you really think their military brass cares if some nondescript dies? Focus should be on getting to the root of the problem. Reducing their economic capacity to create problems will go a long way in putting fear into their minds. Look at Iran what USA has done to their economy through sanctions.

ISIS = CIA/Mossad; thousands of these mercenaries have been airlifted from Syria to Afghanistan by the US to create problems for Pakistan, China and Russia.

Of all the people you should not make predictions. You were rooting for PTM and I told u it's not even scratch on surface, you were rooting and still is on every post that Pakistan is going to break in next few months cuz of hammering they are getting from Indian forces.

I was almost declared as Pakistani when I said brute force is not coming in Kashmir but healing touch for time being and see what is happening.

Unless you take a country as entity you will keep posting Pakistan is going to break cuz we killed few Pakistani on LoC even after 50 years. It's almost like an echo chamber a person say action is coming another declares the date and everyone want to live in that dream! I know it feels good to think about destroying your enemy but that doesn't mean we should cut ourselves from reality completely.

If Imran invites Modi he has no option but to go. Plain and simple, he painted himself into a corner when he invited Nawaz and he came, and now if he didn't go it will cost India diplomatically so he will go if invited it's a moral and diplomatic compulsion. He is very cunning statesman and his visit will actually help India though not him politically. His few actions can make Imran enemy of Pak extremists very easily thereby starting this unstable cycle again. Thankfully Pakistani are divided like enemies, few seeds of doubt can cement the image of Imran.
