Pinaka rockets are part of the multi-barrel rocket launcher systems which are already being used by the Army and have been successfully deployed in operations in both China and Pakistan.
So Pinaka will be produced by EEL, Godrej, L&T and Tata?
There is no such thing as ring type fuze section .
Fuze is different and drag ring is different
The drag ring is added ( screwed ) on the rocket in the field as per operational requirement.
Fuze is always needed ( different types of fuze screwed onto the nose in the field as per op req ), drag ring is not always needed, only as per op req.

Put a god damned EPIK on it and make it a precision weapon. Next time you need to hit inside Pakistan, no need to send planes. Just fire few Grads or this stupid rocket with a EPIK bolted on. Heck, it should be made a on-field modification. Let the commanders on front decide if they want to do a precision strike or a general bombardment. Produce rockets for cheap and bolt on guidance system and control surfaces as needed.
