So if we have ordered the second lot directly feom you, how long it will take to start the delivery & how long will take to complete?
If you order a new batch of Rafale now, the first Rafale of the batch will come out in 3 years and the production rate will be 1 or 2 per month depending on the size of the batch. If you want the production to be done in India the first Rafale of the batch will come out in 4 years because it will take one year to complete the DRAL production plant and the production rate will be between 1 and 3 Rafales per month.
You also can combine the two approach.

Giving a MII order to a Pvt entity in India without the completion of MMRCA tender will be a political suicide for any leader in power in India. And completing the MMRCA program.... Well you are well aware of IST (Indian Standard Time) in such issues.
The best way is to order another batch of the aircraft and then somehow miraculously try to complete the MMRCA 2.0. If not, order a 3rd batch.
If the order is placed in 2022 end for 2nd batch , by mid 2025 aircrafts will start arriving.
Ideally the order should be placed now itself to ensure deliveries of 10-12 aircrafts each year for next 5 years. But that's not happening.
