One of the key roles in the work of Russian artillery in Ukraine is assigned to the 152-mm Msta-S self-propelled artillery mount. At an arms exhibition in 1993 in Abu Dhabi, Msta-S hit 38 out of 40 targets at a distance of 15 km. The unit has been modernized several times, in Ukraine the 2S19M1 and 2S19M2 versions are now used.
