Ask Yusuf why no engine has been delivered for this month yet? What about the 2 engines per month promise of GE? Yusuf is literally shifting the blame on HAL in defence of GE. Yet they are delivering like 1 engine every month. Even that would reach to less than 1 if they don't deliver one this month...I wasn't expecting such behaviour from him...Why this duality of standards?

Tor faces the same problem...... But it at least has VLS which again are constrained by turret architecture.

Range....... To close for comfort......it can form part of a layer defense but you will still need a SAM.......VLSRSAM in my humble opinion is not quick & maneuverable enough for point defense.

The Kashtan-M CIWS on the Batch 1 Talwar frigates turned out to be a complete failure. So much so that the IN ended up replacing it with the trusty old AK-630. Pantsir wasn't even designed for the ship self defence role.

I'd much rather we go for the Teevra 40 naval version of the L&T Sudarshan L-70 mod AA gun
