Maybe paint chipping. Soldiers often carry their grenades on their BPJ, near their chest. When you crawl the grenade's cap may have rubbed on the ground.
Someone should get a few CZ75s and then start producing it. A fine system, should find acceptability in Army.
I think Para SF has Jericho, which is inspired from CZ75.
