
Well the launch was a success, it was never supposed to do anymore than take-off successfully on the first attempt. I guess there are pros and cons of having many engines. Provided you have excess thrust, you can afford to lose a few engines through failure, whereas if you only have 4, not so much.I have wondered. I thought the big lesson on n1 vs Saturn 5 was that too many engines f**k things up. Of course Elon knows what he's doing but doesn't Starship stage 1 have waayyyy too many engines for comfort?
