its just another grouping where they want to take advantage of India while we get nothing out of it.
True dat.
If the US helps permanently deal with the Pakistani problem, we can reorient completely into an offensive posture against China. Even the importance of Russia will drastically decrease. But they won't do it because they prefer controlling Pakistan than being equal with India, plus Pakistan's existence gives leverage over India.
American expectations are hilarious. What's interesting is we need help in dealing with Pakistan, not China.
Agreed, they will never do that. They will not even take action on terrorists from pakistan let alone pakistan state. Extradition of a terrorist involved in 26/11 is still pending from US, biden admin is in virtual radio silence.
Their only stated objective is to have a situation like ukraine-russia where Indians get to die, economy gets sucked out while they make more profit by weapon sales, all along they will keep chanting china...china. On the other hand they will keep trading with china while giving bombastic statements.
Worse thing is that Indians are such morons that they cannot see the obvious, few statements praising them is good enuf to make them fall into a ditch. Take for example visa issuance, Indians need to wait nearly 500 days to get a visa appointment while a chinese can get it in 2 days!
The Americans don't realise that until Pakistan exists, we literally cannot do anything to help them in dealing with China. We have a million men and a 5000-tank army stuck along that border. And a wasteful BMD requirement that shouldn't even have existed in the first place.
And on top of that they failed to get us into the NSG and are struggling with sanctioning Pak-based terrorists. And the icing on the cake is they removed Pakistan from the FATF list.
All that to sell us weapons we do not want, and become enemies with a nation that's a friend to us.
Instead, what's really gonna happen... Russia attacks Ukraine, It's popcorn time for us. And when China attacks Taiwan, we will even run out of popcorn. Literally nothing we can do but just watch. So that's what we will do.
The visa wait time is 900 days for visitors. They fear our growing numbers. Even in such small numbers, we are gaining traction in politics that no other immigrants can compete with.

The only reason the USSR befriended India was because they wanted to expand down to the Indian Ocean, and they saw that the easiest way to do that was via Afghanistan and Pakistan. So it was useful to be friends with India. They are not really your friend and you should be very glad you never got them as a neighbour. Being sandwiched between China, Pakistan and USSR/Russia is like a special version of hell for extremely dumb people.

Indians dont have much clout in US politics , they are more or less non-existent. Few Indian names which might prop up are more or less american , they cater to their white constituency or latinos/chinese/korean base.
Its not they fear our numbers, first they are out-rightly racist and second they put their money where their mouth is. Cutting down on chinese visa will impact their trade but no such problem with India.
