Josep Borrell, the EU’s chief diplomat, on Monday acknowledged that certain political factions in the bloc wanted the EU to drop its support for Ukraine, push Kyiv into a ceasefire and abandon sanctions against Russia to ease economic pressure on European countries. He said those views were “not representative” of the position adopted by member states. Borrell spoke after protests in recent days in Czech Republic and Germany against the rising cost of living and comments from Czech politicians on Monday calling for a new attitude from the EU. Borrell, speaking alongside Ukraine’s prime minister in Brussels, said there is “clear, complete, unwavering support of all [EU] governments to our position”.

Curious how the next few weeks will go.
Is it possible the Ukraine knows this well, ie the EU member states getting into political turmoil, and it is only going to increase in recent days, hence the need for a rather desperate counter offensive so they do not turn off support? We have seen reports of Ukraine mobilizing & committing most of its tanks & gears.

What would be the consequences of Ukraine conceding territory? Russia will only do the same again later with the same consequences. It's just kicking the can down the road.

It's sad and I do feel for the guy. You can hate what the Russians have done to Ukraine and feel bad for they guy. Putin and his Junta are using the very poor, ignorant and desperate and for that he and the leadership deserve what is coming to them however as adults we must also take responsibility for our actions. God created us with a conscious and signing up to kill others because of extreme poverty should never be the answer. There are MILLIONS of people all over the world who are living in extreme poverty that don't do this kind of stuff. They would rather be poor and right with God than to kill people. It's a shame really.

Ukraine received TheMIS robotic systems, Ukrainian media reported. According to press reports, the first instance of such a platform has already been delivered to Ukraine in August this year. THeMIS robotic complexes are produced by the Estonian company Milrem Robotics. THeMIS is a universal unmanned combat platform that allows you to install various weapons on it or use it simply as a vehicle. In Ukraine, THeMIS will be used mainly for the evacuation of the wounded and for the delivery of ammunition. The project for the acquisition of THeMIS robotic complexes for Ukraine was called Zhuravel, it was initiated by the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko together with the Ukrainian volunteer medical unit Hospitallers. To date, THeMIS robotic platforms have been acquired by the armed forces of 11 countries for testing.



Russian artillery destroyed a Ukrainian T-64 tank with pinpoint strikes, possibly the tank hit the mines. There is no exact information.

Even without supporting Rus activities , anyone could point out the same logic & state of mind to the Ukraine AFU & Azov forces who have been killing people for the past 8 years, over 3500 civvis dead not including DNR/DPR dead amounting to double of that. Obviously that part of fighting our brothers was never a concern before from the other side.

War in the Donbass between 2014 and 2022 only existed because of Russian invasion.

Russia fighting a WW2 style war in the 21st century... how pathetic. I say pathetic because Russia (and Russian fanboys many in here) touted themselves as a conventional military superpower but reality is they are nothing but a third world military... the strongest third world military but third world nonetheless. All these parades and showing off of their latest weapon systems was nothing but a farce. According to Russia, its fanboys and youtube videos of high-tech Russian weapons they should have had air supremacy on the second week of the war with all Ukrainian IADS destroyed by Russian SEAD/DEAD capability that they claimed to have had. SU-35/30S should be flying over all of Ukraine conducting CAP and interdiction but instead they stay at home flying once in a while behind their own lines for fear of getting shot down like the handful they have already lost.

It's a third world military.

I wouldn't say third world, but it's certainly not as effective or advanced as claimed.

Last tweet sum it well for me, even staying as neutral or sympathetic to Ukraine cause there comes a time where this war hit common people far away from Ukraine so much that some will go onto protest. Not judging by right or wrong moral right etc etc, just that there should a be voice to it.
