Ukraine - Russia Conflict

What we have there is a classic case of selective/misleading news:

The apparent exchange rate strength of the rouble is no boon for Russia, they are paying monumental interest rates to maintain that exchange rate and they still have huge inflation. Additionally oil is priced in $s regardless of whether it's sold in roubles, yuan, rupee or sheep. This mean that Russia receives less roubles per dollar per barrel. So whilst the price of oil is $90/bbl now vs $80/bbl pre war, because there are 60 roubles per $ now instead of 80, Russia only receives the rouble equivalent of what it would have got for a $67.5/bbl price pre war. Russian energy sales pay government wages and war costs in roubles, so they now have less roubles to pay the same wages and greater costs, and the wages will be worth less too because of the above chart. :D
Can you please explain as to why Rouble is trading at a higher value today that 2014.

Last tweet sum it well for me, even staying as neutral or sympathetic to Ukraine cause there comes a time where this war hit common people far away from Ukraine so much that some will go onto protest. Not judging by right or wrong moral right etc etc, just that there should a be voice to it.

It isn't. In 2013 there was 30 roubles/$ at 5.5% interest rate and 6% inflation, now there is 62 roubles/$ at 8% interests and 16% inflation. That's what Putin has gained through being a dickhead.

And in the EU there is a voice to it, in Russia they have 16% inflation but adding voices to it leaves you in prison or falling out a hospital window.

Keep forgetting to ask, I saw a tweet that said Ukraine are about to ban all female who are militarily eligible from leaving the country from October 1st.
We know such a decree was put for male aged 18-60 in february-march, later possibly amended to include over-60 people also.
What does this signify, if true?
Further, given a large volume of Ukraines manpower drawn into war, how are they managing the farming & produce in the vast parts where fighting is not there? I saw a report that Russia is right now in the midst of a record harvest season, which is indeed possible looking at the weather they got this summertime in past 30-40 days, prime time for harvest. Pakistan got major flooding. We India have closed major export for now.
I refer these tweets, USA despite having some capability will never feed the masses of Europe, let alone Africa & other regions.

falling out a hospital window.
yeah , it does not happen else where.

Josep Borrell, the EU’s chief diplomat, on Monday acknowledged that certain political factions in the bloc wanted the EU to drop its support for Ukraine, push Kyiv into a ceasefire and abandon sanctions against Russia to ease economic pressure on European countries. He said those views were “not representative” of the position adopted by member states. Borrell spoke after protests in recent days in Czech Republic and Germany against the rising cost of living and comments from Czech politicians on Monday calling for a new attitude from the EU. Borrell, speaking alongside Ukraine’s prime minister in Brussels, said there is “clear, complete, unwavering support of all [EU] governments to our position”.

Curious how the next few weeks will go.
Is it possible the Ukraine knows this well, ie the EU member states getting into political turmoil, and it is only going to increase in recent days, hence the need for a rather desperate counter offensive so they do not turn off support? We have seen reports of Ukraine mobilizing & committing most of its tanks & gears.

So now Russia has decided it has the right to invade nearly anywhere under this doctrine.
