Easy, one was during a world war and was caused by other factors (failed crop, weather, Japanese capture of Burma and subsequent wave of refugees), all Churchill did was handle it badly by over-prioritisation of war food supplies, including those to USSR. More people died from famine in China between 1751 and 1947 and more people have died from hunger and malnutrition in India from 1947 to 2022 than from 1751 to 1947.
