I'm not "suspicious" of the US. I have an honest appreciation of what they can and will do to meet their own goals. It's simply others who are on Kool-Aid, people who cannot see things for what they are.

For example, the US is dealing with friends and enemies exactly how one expects a powerful country to behave. They are treating Russia like a political, economic and military enemy and are dealing with them on all three fronts, whereas they believe the EU is an economic enemy and are dealing with them as such. India is a political and economic enemy and that's where they will target us in the future.

In this entire charade, the US and Russia are the only ones playing by the rules of nature. The EU is dealing with Darwin now.

There's no such thing. Anticipating a slowdown in both the EU and China, producers are not keen on raising production.

The EU's ability to fill up gas storage tanks over the next two years is suspect. "Adaptation" is possible only from 2025.

US wont be sharing power with any one. They want to stay as the almighty and control every thing. They are treating europe just like they would treat south korea or saudi arabia. While these minions think they have place at the dining table US is putting them on dining plate with others .

Like I have before, US definitely try to be Economic behemoth with exclusive access to cutting edge technology(not sharing/blocking these Technology with Competitor).
But Military Conflict won't happen, Even with china.
BTW I don't see IRA was designed to hurt EU economy but to put Impetus for clean energy transition.

After this situation has persisted for a while they'll have no choice. The days of oil are numbered, better to cash in while you still can. In 10-15 years all cars sold in Europe will be EV or fuel cell/hydrogen.
