Ukraine - Russia Conflict

I expect Russia to remain Neutral.
At best they'll remain neutral in a China on Ukraine kind of way. I.e. not really neutral just pretending.

Yup! Kinda agree. But Do you know any leader that can replace Putin?
Well Medvedev is the likely successor under the current regime, but I think a better approach for Russia would be to get rid of both of them and disavow their actions. Without that, several million Russians are likely to die in Ukraine in the next few decades.

100%! That sound a little too good to be true, but certainly a heck of a lot have got through. Far better than the ratio being managed by Kalibrs and Kh-101s over the past 2 months.

Storm shadows have buddy MALD flying with them which is why Russians think they are intercepting them. I buy 100% success rate claim if couple dozen storm shadows have been used.

eurasiatimes :ROFLMAO:

Might as well use sputnik or RT news for your source, hunny bunny. Offensive hasn't started yet but you'll know when it does.... As far as how the storm shadow is doing... well read and weep.

As per "official" Russian sources, multiple Storm Shadows have been intercepted. Ukraine/NATO/US wouldn't had lost Bakhmut if your weapons were any effective. But Russians successfully countered your HIMARS, HARMs and Storm Shadows and destroyed your Ukronazi forces at Bakhmut.

Beginning of the end bro....

Temporary, Nah... I don't think so.

China wants large parts of Siberia. Quite a bit they claim as their own.

You can think of it as the last territory battle they will fight after Taiwan and India. Possibly SoKo too.

With Russia getting sanctioned from western markets, Russia is more or less heavily dependent on china. So, Even if Nato don't exist, China - Russia is going to Co-operate.

In time, many of the points of convergence the Russians have with the Chinese will slowly disappear, especially as China moves away from oil and gas within the next 10 years. By then, the rest of the Third World will start catching up as a manufactured goods supplier, which will help Russia gain some leverage over China. Russia's dependency on China today is a disadvantage to them, but that will turn into an advantage as the Third World gets rich enough to begin displacing China as Russia's main market.

But what's really going to be a massive point of contention between the two is they are both massive military threats to each other. I don't think any economic relations will trump that. Especially when you consider China's willing to risk trade relations with the West over Taiwan, and that trade with Russia is considerably smaller. With oil consumption waning, and global warming opening up the Arctic for trade, it's going to put Russia on the backfoot geopolitically. As Russia becomes less dependent on China, the points of friction will only grow.

And finally with the construction boom expected in India versus China's waning sanction-prone industry, India will become a more important market for Russia. And with India also posing a major military threat to China, and none to Russia, we are looking at things becoming worse between Russia and China over the long term. No matter how good economic relations are, if the military balance is not good, then things tend to go south relatively quickly.

Why does shit keep exploding in Mariupol, Berdyansk and Luhansk then? Explain that. The explosion don't lie.

Meanwhile Ukraine has sanctioned Iran for the next 50 years, without any prospect of review/change in between.

Your problem is that you're throwing in with Russia, but they will not help you with your problems against China, the opposite in fact. As regards Europe, the bigger problem is to let Putin win, as evidenced by the 20 years before 2022.

India needs Russia to remain neutral regarding China and pro-India regarding Central Asia, read Af-Pak. An antagonist Russia will become a massive headache instead.

Putin probably has 5 years at best. It's his successor you should be worried about, he may not be as reasonable.

Claims of both successful strikes and interceptions have not been verified in open source. Both have claimed massive successes in doing both. So take all these reports with salt. It's gonna take a long time to verify everything.

Some highlights from report:
On Efficacy of Russian EW systems:-
"Russian electronic warfare (EW) remains potent, with an approximate distribution of at least one major system covering each 10 km of front. These systems are heavily weighted towards the defeat of UAVs and tend not to try and deconflict their effects. Ukrainian UAV losses remain at approximately 10,000 per month."
On Russian IADS:-
"Russian air defences have also seen a significant increase in their effectiveness now that they are set up around known, and fairly static, locations and are properly connected. Although Russia has persistently struggled to respond to emerging threats, over time it has adapted. Russian air defences are now assessed by the Ukrainian military to be intercepting a proportion of GMLRS strikes as Russian point defences are directly connected to superior radar."
@randomradio @Rajput Lion How good is our Ground based EW systems?

Lol. Storm shadows aren't being used in Bakhmut you silly blockhead. The evidence is sht is blowing up on targets Ukraine/US targeted it's that simple.

Btw....

Don't know what to make of this. I still see drones dropping grenades on Russian troops and I see GPS-jamming EW stations getting hit by GPS guided artillery.

In other news, the broken clock @randomradio is right twice a day. Serbia want into the EU, so they will likely help fix it.

This would have been a big deal if Russia would have accomplished their mission in Ukraine without the heavy losses or if no war would have taken place but since Russia's conventional army is a shadow of its former self this Kosovo bruhaha is a nothingburger.

Same if Armenia and Azerbaijan really went to war against each other. Right now Russia wouldn't be able to do anything if Azerbaijan decided to take Armenian land.

Sounds like the Serbs in those areas boycotted the elections and then wondered why their guy didn't win.
