Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Footage of a Ukrainian F-16AM fighter jet intercepting a Russian Geran-2 kamikaze UAV, possibly a Harpia-A1. It's worth noting that a similar attack has already caused the crash of a Ukrainian F-16. The drone was allegedly hit by a 20mm M61A1 Vulcan automatic cannon.

A resident of Shostka, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine, captured high-quality footage of a Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drone attack on a Ukrainian sports and recreation complex. Ukrainian military personnel were presumably located on the complex's premises.

In his speech at the Kyiv Aviation Institute on 8 February 2026, Zelensky described Russia’s energy sector as a “legitimate target”, arguing that its revenues finance the war. This reflects a controversial shift in terminology, with civilian infrastructure increasingly being redefined as part of the enemy’s “military economy”. However, many energy facilities and enterprises primarily serve civilian needs and have only indirect or partial links to military supply. Civilian objects remain protected unless they provide a clear and direct military advantage. However, expanding the concept of “military targets” risks blurring this distinction and normalising strikes on infrastructure that is largely civilian in function.

Footage of Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drone strikes on a Ukrainian gas processing plant in Mala Pavlivka, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine.
A second Geran-2 drone strike was carried out on a Ukrainian fuel storage facility in the village of Kachanovo, Poltava Oblast, Ukraine. The Russian army used Geran-2 drones, which were directly controlled by operators, for the strikes.

NATO have also stated that Russia and Ukraine's combined losses could reach 2 million by spring. So reading between the lines, Russia is losing men more than twice as fast as Ukraine.

Footage of a Russian Lancet-51 kamikaze drone strike on a Ukrainian Caesar 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer. The Caesar is mounted on a Tatra T815 chassis. Denmark ordered these self-propelled howitzers from France in 2017. The Caesars were delayed for a long time while defects were being corrected. Denmark subsequently transferred the Caesars to Ukraine. The Ukrainian Caesar was damaged as a result of the Lancet-51 drone strike. The video was filmed in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Residents of Odesa have published footage of strikes by Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones. According to media reports, the strikes targeted the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, located near Odesa, as well as industrial infrastructure and power supply facilities. The overnight and morning strikes damaged 20 substations. According to Odesa authorities, all traction substations were left without power.
