The Israeli Air Force struck two Iranian F-14 Tomcat fighter jets at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport. The F-14 was developed in the United States and was accepted into service in 1974. Iran received 77 F-14s in 1977, but many have been inoperable since then due to losses in combat, lack of spare parts, and crashes due to engine reliability issues. Iranian media reports that the F-14s were decoys specifically placed at the airport.

Army needs artillery guns, ATGMs, MANPADS, mobile VSHORADS and QRSAM, light/med helicopters etc.
Air force needs refuelers, MRFA, more transports, light/med helicopters.
Navy needs minesweepers, utility helicopters, and maritime recce aircraft.
All three services need far more drones than ordered.
That's the case even for 5th gen. Even against Iran, the Israelis used F-35s in standoff attacks outside the range of their LR ADS. They got lucky the Iranians did not spend sufficient money on MR and SR Russian systems that could intercept the standoff munitions. Only after the destruction of Iran's IADS did they move in.
They are pushing for talks. Things will change if the talks fail. They have a lot more firepower than what they showed.
Trump doesn't seem to have the stomach for a land invasion though. And you cannot defeat Iran with just air strikes.

Iran attempted to launch a missile attack on the Israeli Mossad headquarters in Herzliya. The missiles reportedly missed their target. The missiles used were believed to be medium-range Emad and Ghadr ballistic missiles. A missile attack was also launched on the IDF's Glilot military base camp. The strike was preceded by a night attack by Iran in an attempt to weaken Israel's air defenses, which you can see in action in the video. Not all of the missiles reportedly hit their targets. The video ends with a crater left by the missile strikes and a fire being extinguished at one of the military facilities at Camp Herzog.
Now it's abundantly clear that regime change is going to happen. Only question that remains is if the "Supreme Leader" is going to make it out of this mess alive..
