Delhi, UP and Haryana : Political Discussions

Dayan will rule Delhi for another 5 Years!

Actually, if you notice, BJP never selects a strong candidate in Delhi last time it was Kiran Bedi, this time there is a babua from Bihar. Dr. harshvardhan is a famous man in Delhi. BJP would have won if he was the CM candidate.

My assessment is , BJP wants the following:
1. Get rid of loads and useless people in BJP , example Manoj Tiwari by making them lose elections.
2. Keep Kejriwal busy in Delhi. He only controls MCD and it's a big headache. If he gets free he will create 100 shaheen baaghs in Delhi.
3. Delhi can any time be converted into UT and hung assembly is good for development of Delhi.

AAP has chances to win only because of Manoj Sisodia and minority votes, but this time it's little unpredictable, people of Delhi vote blindly.

minority votes

I find this minority votes complete BS and nonsense. Delhi has a population of 80% hindu and around 14% muslim+christian. Assuming not all population is eligible to vote and not all non-Hindus will vote for AAP, how can 5-7% votes lead to this clobbering defeat for BJP?

1. People moved on from Hindu-Muslim-Pak and Kejriwal effectively used CCTV-Bijli-Paani-School
2. Baijal's interference with AAP's agenda
3. Delhi police's ineptitude and incompetence
4. Rising inflation and slow economy
5. Foolish BJP candidates - When they were asked what were their plans for Delhi, they kept blabbering Modi's schemes and other gibberish.

AAP deserves another term to evaluate their progress and really see whether they have delivered effective governance with their different style of politics, else, this term should be their last.

Well I agree to you because there is problem in country due to economy . And this will continue, because there are reforms coming. Some one, either you and me or your kids and my kids have to bear this situation. And when reforms happen, only after that economy grows.
But when it comes to Delhi, it's some what different. People in Delhi have limited knowledge on how to vote.
Basically in MCD areas people don't vote much. They are businessmen and there are no farmers in Delhi. They are more concerned about government in haryana or Punjab. Because people have farms there.

Government servants they do vote but their say is limited. The rest of the middle class Hindus are lazy, but Muslims vote every time. And this is a fact. As you correctly said. Old Delhi, Nizamuddin, Mehrauli, Okhla, Shahjahanagar are Muslim pockets and after CAA uproar the votes have been cut. Secondly no good CM candidate.

So people did not really took these elections seriously.

Its like failing for an exam you signed up for and then patting yourself on the back. The way reforms are being rolled out, id rather have none, than shoddy implementation.

AAP won when BJP MPs called kejriwal a terrorist and spoke about muslims and rapes etc. I hope AAP gives good governance and rises above caste - Hindu - Muslim - Pak politics. We should have a good alternative to the sick losers in BJP and Congress.

where do you get the number of votes counted.

Sir on that Circular graph , you have to touch with mouse or finger , if you are using phone

Then it shows votes received so far by a party

Now for AAP ,it says 52 percent votes
With 11 lakh 20 thousand votes so far

That means total votes counted so far is 22 lakhs

These figures are.updated every 10 minutes
