A senior commander of Pakistan-based Salafi militant organization Lashkar-e-Taibah Mohammad Nadeem aka Abu Qital was assassinated in this attack.
He is said to be relative of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, head of Lashkar-e-Taibah.
