Great, but I think There are Indian Alternatives also available for this like Data Patterns etc. I think these will be integrated to HAL LCH PRACHAND fleet along with RUDRA fleet. Overall good addition.

Lol its always the retired generals on social media or news channels trying to stir up drama.
To think that Rudra was the first 'helicopter gunship' in Indian service with a proper eo/ir targeting pod makes the assertions of these ex-servicemen even more ridiculous. Mi-17s got theirs only recently with the integration of Spike NLOS, iirc.
So their effectiveness over Kargil's mountain terrain would've been limited, at best.
Iirc, even IAF Mi-24/35 were upgraded with Isreali targeting sights only a couple of years after Kargil.

From an Army perspective trying to build a capable aviation which can lead air land campaign across Pir Panjal, I will be disappointed in LUH.
Instead of negotiations, i would rather like a yes or no. Is CEMILAC right or HAL? Be done and dusted.

Airland is about both insertion and then sustainment.
If Dhruv was enough we wouldn't have Indian army using privately leased AW109s and AS350s
I don't think the number of privately leased airframes are comparable to how many Dhruvs the Army has...
The very fact that IA chose not to order 12 more Dhruvs but lease more light helicopters till LUH or AS350 type deal happens tells a different story.
Why would they order more Dhruv for a role that is able to be be fulfilled by a heli the size of a H125...
LUH is to be used mainly in recon/surveillance role besides logistics support. Our spec ops helo of choice is the Dhruv/Rudra which has been used in that role in ops against Myanmar based rebels, a couple of years ago + multiple exercises with other countries.
IMRH is sorely needed in a dedicated assault + CSAR variant for the IA which doesn't have any medium helos of its own.
