Agni 5 is the apex predator of the series. It has all the tech of lower variants and much more. So if Agni Prime has MaRV then you can rest assured that Agni 5 most definitely will have it. Agni 5 MK2 has both MIRV and MaRV. You still want to live in denial then it's up to you to kindly do so.
This part has been the subject of debate in a way that virtually all our indigenous systems, the top guns aka missiles, all are mostly SFC controlled due to being nuke delivery capable. But there is no rule that can forbid if the same weapon system is used with a conventional warhead & in a manner in which its nuke role is not compromised? If we can use prithvi with its blast cum earth shake warhead in conventional role , against a much stronger foe like chinese cbg we should not shy away from using mirv A1P with conventional warhead. We are trying to seperate the conventional & nuclear capabilities.
I am sure if requirment arises, something on the lines of SMART can be easily developed.
2 petal MIRV with MaRV was first tested on Agni Prime. Later this same tech(supposedly 3 petal configuration) was employed for production variant of Agni 5. Agni 5 MK2 has all composite 3 stages while Mk1 had 1st stage made of maraging steel. Thus Agni 5 MK2 has more range over MK1. Anyway, pointless debate, the crater for a 475kT warhead is as follows, you can see that single digit precision is quite pointless. The only reason for a MaRV is to evade terminal defences, but that's only possible with HGV types, and only then if you manoeuvre at the right time, which is the difficulty.
