Brexit and Future of UK : Discussions

Isn't that what we fund the EU for? To act as a proper government, which includes properly organising EU elections.
Same old whining and whinging, Paddy. Wonder when will you and your compatriots grow up & accept responsibilities for your actions & mistakes.

The new brexit party, and UKIP will split hardcore brexit votes. Conservatives will also get a lot of brexit votes and probably labour will win most seats in EU election :LOL:

Here the principle of subsidiarity applies
Here the principle of government applies. The EU wants a government, therefore the EU pays the costs of government, which includes elections. An election is an EU wide process, not a local one, and with the £11bn/year it gets from the UK, it should be able to afford to set up a proper election every 5 years, where people are actually informed about them.

My folks always had the option. That they didn't exercise it should tell you something. Unlike your mom. And when she had the choice it was 4 decades too late.Perhaps the poor woman is now waiting for UK to legalize Euthanasia .To put you out of your misery, Paddy.
I believe in correcting problems not admitting them.

Youth are already legal in Asia but I don't see what that has to do with the UK or Ireland.
Wtf are you babbling about Paddy? Are you bloody drunk in bloody working hours? Your brown desi counterpart out here has gone ballistic too after having one too many.

It is the UK that prevents the EU from having a government

No but I feel drunk every time I have to read one of your posts. Lay off the bath salts old chap.

UK economy rebounds in first quarter

Growth was 0.5% in the quarter, up from 0.2% in the previous three months, the Office for National Statistics said.
And here we think 7% is too slow, we need to do better & correctly so, at these different growth rates where India is more than doubling in every 10 years, by 2040 UK be 1/4th economy of India & 1/8th by 2050, if India continues as IMF/World bank predict, a perfect scenario to celebrate 100 years of Independence from loot.
Sorry Mods for going slightly off topic, coundn't stop pointing the irony & justice.

It gets harder as the GDP/Capita increases. People predicted Japan would be a superpower in the 1980s. People predicted China would have already passed the US's GDP by 2015.

Agreed 100%, but we still be low-mid GDP/Capita for next 3 decades, even though the overall GDP be humongous. We still be in developing group. So the fate of Japan/UK is not likely to hit us by end of this century.
