Brexit and Future of UK : Discussions

Agreed 100%, but we still be low-mid GDP/Capita for next 3 decades, even though the overall GDP be humongous. We still be in developing group. So the fate of Japan/UK is not likely to hit us by end of this century.
Debatable. You need to start developing high end technology and lots of it to continue strong growth past $8k/capita nominal.

It gets harder as the GDP/Capita increases. People predicted Japan would be a superpower in the 1980s. People predicted China would have already passed the US's GDP by 2015.

It gets easier if looted territory and money by Britain is returned to India.

We were just an early day version of the EU in that respect. We took your money and distributed it elsewhere in our empire "for the greater good of humanity".

Eu takes their own money and distribute between themselves. Uk taking money from others and distributing amongst yourself is called sharing the loot after stealing

EU takes money from nations in the EU, Britain took money from nations in the British Empire. The only difference is the few extra pieces of paper and the bit of corruption underlying the EU. We consider that our money would be better off spent in the UK, whereas you considered that your money would be better off spent in India. Funny old world eh? We're not so different. Now you know why @Picard calls the EU 'Colonialism 2.0'.

EU takes money from nations who have voluntarily associated with it under explixity stated conditions. These nations also have the option of leaving the EU voluntarily when they feel like. British empire was built on rape and plunder and murder.

That's what I said, "Colonialism 2.0, now with extra pieces of paper." Basically the only difference is that we redistributed your money without destroying half a rainforest in the process.

Nobody voluntarily entered into this, it was entered into illegally by dishonest characters like Tony Blair.

you took all the money for yourself and did not do any 're-distribution'. You killed millions of people.

The EU took all our money for other parts of the EU too while NHS waiting lists for critical surgery grew longer and people died. Then they invited in terrorists to kill and rape us. Give them 200 years and they will reach the millions too.

Less money was taken from UK than France (as an example) and our NHS is working fine , thank you. instead of accusing europe, look your country in a mirror. Without EU, no City etc. Bankrupt, as simple as that.

Nope, we pay more than France on net. Their gross payment is higher, but our net payment is higher.

With the EU all we have is that city.
