So , in other words , England consistently fails to perform in the last 16/8/4 KO matches whereas when ever the French make it to the last 8/4 they usually go all the way . That's what you're driving home . Point taken .Now back to that PS-2 of yours .

Consistency wins leagues, whereas anyone can win a cup. Occasionally even non-Premier league teams win the FA Cup, a non-league team even won it once.

Consistency also wins big matches . Why don't you admit it , England lack the cojones for big matches and the talent for it . Consistently .

Not at all. The winner of the Premier League often doesn't even make the final of the FA Cup or Coca-Cola Cup, yet over 40 games they prove themselves better than all other sides.

Evidently , you haven't heard of the saying - In the land of the blind , the one eyed man rules .

But , if you're satisfied by mediocrity in every sphere of life and enjoy being the complaint box , who're we to complain ?!

I simply pointing out a fact about Cups vs League and there's plenty of evidence in English Leagues/Cups as well as foreign Leagues/Cups to back it up.
