This type of polution is called Cold Air Inversion Smog
where Cold air and all pollutants

wind speed picked up last evening and by about 10 am the pollution levels had started decreasing considerably but we now have to go with odd-even when there is no need for it. see the link below.

It will encourage Car Pooling

Auto and Cabs should Not be allowed to
Increase fares

What is the use of odd even if you leave out 70% of the vehicles? delhi has nearly 66 lakh two wheelers and about 30 lakh four wheelers. All two wheelers are exempt from odd even. We all know that two stroke engines fitted to scooters are the biggest pollutants due to mixing of oil in them.
Khujli blew away delhi finances in subsidies and did not create even a single power plant for Delhi. Delhi buys all its electricity from other sources. Plus the roads are in bad shape now and the DTC fleet was over 5000 when they came to power and it has decreased to 3700 buses now. The growth of two wheelers is due to lack of proper public transport. Khujli can't buy more buses as he has no money. The money is paid out as subsidies.

40% unauthorized colonies. Administration can do what, nothing! Administration also has limited resources for only 1 Million. We have close to 2 million and will cross 2 million in 10 years. More over giving all the subsidy to these 40% unauthorized residents.
We have allowed builders to construct high rise residential towers around the capital disrupting the air flow, bring sand and cement all over atmosphere. Pollution will stay because delhi is not like mumbai or dubai near sea shore . These idiots built the complexes as per dubai and mumbai standards. LOL

when you squeeze 2 million in a small space then pollution will occur in higher concentration.

In NCT nothing more than 5 stories should be allowed.
