Huge development. Order for 52 propulsion systems of VB trains distributed between 7 manufacturers including 2 foreign OEMs. I wonder what safeguards have been undertaken regarding the IP rights of those propulsion systems though.

If you were to compare it to the locals run in Mumbai , it belongs to another planet. Any & every Mumbaikar who travels regularly by train would give their arm & leg for that model to be introduced here as a substitute for the locals they travel in .

Need to take care of the mess in Maharashtra. Delays in Bullet train , Mumbai Delhi economic corridor projects and Mumbai metro projects funded by Japan can put a strain in our relationship with Japan.

And Japan is a very important source for technology and investment at very low rates for India.
