Lol. Wow you had to reach far into the past, eh? How about recent? Here let me help you.
-Dassault is attempting to distance itself from a corruption scandal surrounding its bid to win South Korea's F-X fighter competition with the Rafale.
The French manufacturer says it has broken ties with local trading company Comet International, which had been one of its agents in the campaign.
The move follows the arrest by military police of South Korean air force Col Cho Joo-hyong on suspicion of receiving an unauthorised 11 million won ($8,400) payment from Comet.
A second air force officer, who worked with Cho on the F-X evaluation team, has also been arrested.

How about more recent...
-French investigative journal Mediapart has made fresh claims that alleged bogus invoices were used that enabled French aircraft maker Dassault Aviation to pay at least 7.5 million euros in secret commissions to a middleman to help it secure the Rafale deal with India.
According to Mediapart's investigation, Dassault Aviation paid the kickbacks to the intermediary in Mauritius between 2007 and 2012.
Mediapart had reported in July that a French judge has been appointed to lead a "highly sensitive" judicial investigation into suspected corruption" and favoritism in the Rs 59,000-crore inter-governmental deal with India for the supply of 36 Rafale fighter jets.

This one really baffles me. Why would Dassault need to bribe India if your french plane was a sure thing?
