Journalist s in twitter are confirming a UAV is shot down by Su 30..


And i just tweeted my friend its Drop tank.
 
For every fake rumour , how pages get posted here ..
And for real actions show many pages getting done..

Are we looking at a potential 1000 pages thread ?

Most likely, Su-30 MKIs if they were scrambled, painted the Pakistani jet which hightailed faster than I can say hightailed, out of the area.

These could be two different incidents. A Pakistani jet discarding drop tank which fell in Fort Abbas and Indian jet targeting a Pakistani drone.

Do you know how AAM works? Powered flight and coasting phase? And explosion also adds impulse to pieces?

The missile does go cold after missing the target and and explodes after certain distance. This missile part was found near Reasi. Your aircraft were 24 kms from Reasi when they were intercepted. When the missile explodes in air after missing the target, The parts don't fall vertically down, they continue to follow the original trajectory like a normal bomb and fall much further down range from the place where the missile actually explodes.
Road distance of Reasi from nearest border is about 60Kms but it is just about 35kms as the crow flies.
