I am not sure that the one they claimed as ours (the video is of 2016) was this one. That one was on surface much closer to their own shores and had a reported battery leakage. They were surfacing to vent. And subsequently they made for home base for emergency repairs.
The supporters of terror tried to paint it as our own vessel being detected to boost own flagging morale. My own source from submarine used certain words to laugh at them.

Am not sure how much that makes sense, frankly. Been on a submarine, a Kilo off Vizag, but that is about it. In three hours my BDU was as wet as a sponge in a pool of water and I was all for going on strike to allot even the Siachen Glacier equivalent allowance to each submariner in addition to their already equivalent submarine allowance!

I had stated that post Pulwama, IN was tracking two subs in Arabian sea close to Pak coast. One was this, whiuch was the other and from which nation. I had also written that three of their subs were in refit in Karachi. If IN had been cleared to strike on 27th Night, We would have sunk the entire Pak navy including its sub fleet. This is the time to go all out as Pak Navy and PAF will not be able to interfere with any Amphi ops which IN may undertake off Gwadar.
Regarding that video of a sub at snorkel depth. I had clearly written that it was some kind of an exercise to test the onboard IR pod of the aircraft. Because the sub was maintaining constant course and did nothing to evade the aircraft. That also could be possibly due to what you wrote. Limited ability to maneuvre for want of power. It must have made it back to home on engine power at snorkel depth.

It is always expected. The issue that comes to fore, after coming to know of the instance here, is the possibility of casualties that must have been sustained by them in the failed attempt.

Interesting thing to note is that Dawn itself is implying a collusion of sorts in the manner it has put out the news.
I have already taken it on twitter. My humble request to all members is to take your time to bust #Fake News & Accounts. We simply can not allow things to go wrong right now.

I regularly report Pakistani twitter handles indulged in propaganda and acting as Kashmiris, got many suspended maybe others helped too but still I report every account I find suspicious and has the potential to mislead or create problems for India.

These people have been making accounts with very "Hindu" sounding RW names and viciously targeting Sikhs on SM. I have tried warning who ever I could on whats app and twitter. So far only, Gen. Husnain was earlier able to figure it out. Navdeep Singh on twitter was also heavily targeted by them.
