Yeah , I looked for history to look for Falcon s reply to my query on Netra performance...

Govt. trying to keep the F-16 drama running. I get the feeling the screw is being tightened somewhere else....

Nothing of that sort. After the FP article & ISPR & Reham Khan's ex going to town with the no F-16 downed narrative, GoI & IAF were singed enough to issue rebuttals and now stage a PC explaining their stand. Some thing too little & too late. It should've come about immediately after 27th Feb and buried PAF's narrative. Instead we gave them enough leeway to create their own narrative and sow doubts. Totally avoidable but then that's how our establishment operates. In a void and completely reactive, oozing with self righteousness.
Yes three of them had crossed the LOC and they were engaged by Wg. Cdr. Abhi and his wingman. In my depiction of air battle what I called the alternative was the actual flight path of the Mig-21 Bisons. He fired from 60* off from head on. meaning he had this f-16 to his 2 o'clock and the F-16 was turning away to exit the Indian air space. After shooting this guy. Abhi did a hard trurn left to to stay within Indian Air space and got shot down by other F-16 during this right turn. We have seen a video in which we see the F-16 going down and a vapour trail in a curve to the right. That vapour trail was of Mig-21.
Except the video in which two parachutes were seen and narrated by bystanders did not leave any vapour trail.
So the Mig 21 video was one which left continuous trail while falling and another plane probably the 2nd F16 was leaving after hitting it.
IAF releasing all the evidence immediately after 27nth Feb would have been an even bigger disaster. IAF would have been attacked by the usual catory of people regardless of what the IAF did. Showing off and using all your cards at once would have allowed Pakistani's to give retort to everything. What would we do then ? Now we have the opportunity to reveal as time is right and prove ISPR wrong. On one hand you want Indians to win the narrative and on the other hand one wants to believe IAF and Govt. is wrong or somehow loosing which is precisely what the Pakistanis want you to believe. No matter what you do, Pakistanis and the usual catory of people are not going to accept it. Weather you give proof or don't you are going to receive with another excuse of reason as to why IAF said is wrong. This has been done in 65, 71, 99 and too many times. Nothing new here.
Personally, IAF shouldn't give a rats *censored* as to what people think.
If the IAF doesn't give a rats *censored*, it should have stuck to it's guns & maintained what they've saying all along. We took down an F-16 but we don't want to release any evidence. Believe it for we're saying so. Why go through the charade now?

IAF have constantly stuck to its guns, Can you please quote me the IAF or GOVT. statement where it claimed further proofs would NOT be provided? Showing all your cards on 27nth wo0uld have been a stupid decision. What IAF, Govt. doing right now is enough. IF we have to win a narrative like Pakistan, we would have to behave like Pakistan and brutally shut down all internal opposition and dissent. Are we willing to that ?

This kid has read too much Tom Clancy for his own good. Airborne Decoys have to mimic not just the radar emissions but also the speed and agility of the object they are impersonating. Otherwise its a dead giveaway.
Lets say you put an emission device on a drone that gives out the exact electronic emissions like an F-16, but it moves like a turbo prop, turns like a turbo prop and climbs like a turbo prop. Would the IAF fall for it?
I have seen that video here on this forum in which the F-16 is going down and a vapour tarils forms just above and behind it and after that Mig-21 disappears.
