If Gafoora had not tweeted about Balakot on 26th morning, Pakistan would have got away very cheaply. His tweet forced PAF to strike India which escalated the things resulting in death of two pilots and over 600 Pak Army guys killed on LOC. We killed over 50 on the night when Abhi was released. This is the main reason that he was not promoted to Corps commander level and made to bow out.

But Sir, if it was not supposed to be revealed then how the anger of Indian public would have been allayed? Did the govt then had no plans to me it public?

Poor gafooriii 😂😂 peaceforchange lol

Just checked, the Tarbela Dam Airport is around 120 km minimum from LoC. What stand off weapon we used with over 150 km range if it was launched from well within our territory?
Do you know the range of standoff weapons that we have. We were not able to fire some of them on 26th Feb. Tarbela dam was not the target but the installations around the airfield and the airlield itself were.

Just the way Ninda Turtle announced three air strikes inside Pakistan. We would have announced it and shown the damage done. Just like the surgical strikes carried out by Indian Army in 2016 which were denied by Pakistan.

I thought our stand off weapon have range of under 100 km. We tested one recently in Rajasthan

I checked on google..there is airstrip of decent length at Tarbela just next to the Indus River channel. They may have stationed some of their F16 over there

Did you notice soft top hangars there and ORP points? and lack of blast pens.
Yes Sir, looks more like a warehouse with hardly any protection. Stupid of PAF to station F16 there.

Some time ago ie in April
A Journalist Manish Prasad
Tweeted an Image of Su 30 with Brahmos
Fitted underneath along with R 77 s

He also said this image is at a Forward Air Base

What I am implying is that This Picture was Tweeted Much BEFORE the Brahmos test
That happened Recently

So I am certain that we Already have Modified a few of our Sukhois for carrying Brahmos

It is possible that we used a Brahmos for
Tarbela

In 1971 war, the hunters which operated over longowal did not even have a tent over them. satellite airfields are supposed to be like this which arouse minimum suspicion. You hide your assets there till they are actually needed to strike. Sherdils were hiding in this place and remained under these hangers. But we picked them out thru radio intercepts and other methods which can't be stated here.

If this image is so clear then our Risat and Cartosat can do even better

Also the ELINT satellite launched recently
Can sniff out the Presence of Radars

So this also means there were no SAMS
At this Base
Satellite airbases are supposed to be like this. No apparent defenses and hide in open.

If there were Radars here at this base
They would used AA guns or missiles

At this place they lost even a Brigadier

Next day I teased a PDF guy on Twitter and he Said in Anger " OK , Our whole Army is destroyed "

I took this from elevation of 3 km so to have the entire runway in one shot. Could have gone down to 600m ..and I am using just free google earth..no paid subscription..you could see a helicopter in front to the 5th block if u zoom in.
