India - Pakistan Standoff 2019

I'm restricted from the LOC standoff thread, on accusations of having launched a personal attack on a member. It doesn't give me much confidence that a known Pakistani troll (it's a known fact) is allowed to get away with whatever statements he wants to make, but an Indian member is expected to stay calm and tolerate all those rants. This is likely to get me into further trouble, but I'd rather accept a ban, than having to tolerate affronts to national pride (however nonsensical or outlandish they may be).

@TalatHussain12: #Kashmir crisis brews as Delhi’s troops and security forces entrench and position themselves across the valley and other areas. Blanket curfew like situation being reported. In Isb (islamabad) defence minister is non-existent and the foreign minister plans to leave for hajj.

That's a major escalatory measure. I'm not sure the GoI is thinking along these lines now unless Pakistan commits a major goof up. In which case the ball is in our court. Even then, I expect GoI to respond in it's customary circumspect manner.

Agreed, GOI is thinking of internal security full stop, offensive isnt on the board yet. Probably will never be either, hotlines
have already rung.

Escalation may happen can lead to some CAP and CFV , you can rule out war or any major offensive. Economy is right now the major focus area for us and we have to do better in that.

do whatever you want. Indian Economy will not improve till second half of 2020. But at the sametime, it won't go bad with a war also. I and @Falcon had posted that after GST it will take three years for things to stabilise. But after that there will be no stopping our economy. This is the right time to take out Pakistan. Jahaan murday par 100 lakdi, ek aur sahi. it won't make a difference.
Indian economy will fly once we take out Pakistan. Think about it.

Exactly sir.

We can afford a war and then some. They can not afford sustaining their troops for prolonged period of time in present posture, let alone a war. 'Tense' LC increases the risk for their 'investors' ... no one will give them loans/bail outs easily.

Sir, I know that I have read your posts, but you both and me we all know deep inside that apart from CFV there won't be any major activity. Infact this is the perfect time because no one will intervene , as other countries are busy with their internal problems. India will not initiate, if Pakistan does that's the different issue. Then we would have no option except to fight.

Modi has used this time very intelligently to sort out the problems in our financial system and now he is using this time to even sort out border issues. So what if I am burdened, you are about to collapse, let me kill you. This seems to be what Modi is doing.
