If China is going to open a second front it will only do so for a quick charged skirmish to inflict high casualties, grab territory before our opposition starts marching on the streets to end the war. Which means if the Chinese are getting involved we should be knowing before hand if we have any shred of competence

China will make the usual 'moves' expecting India to be 'distracted'. All taken into overall security calculus.

@Falcon Im little confused. On a scale of 1-10 how serious is India on its claims of pok integrating with mainland india in future years to come?
Im not a military man so I don’t understand the logic behind these operations. But the things we are doing on ground arent random. They have a motive. I want to know if the motive is only internal politics or national security reasons?

There is no shame in accepting that people of India were caged by Pakistani lobbyst in the government of India to maintain soft policy towards Pakistan for long time and Pakistan has succeeded in that. 12 crore pakistani laundo ne 50 crore hindustani laundo kae naak mein 30 years se dum kar rakha ho aur 50 crore kuch na kar payein it's worth applause for 12 crore. This is something of research how a small nation can psychologically enslave a larger nation through political sabotage.

For the bold.

Brutal fact: There is no shame in accepting that the only option for us post Independence was to either align with US and be the sub-continental boss or be non-aligned and suffer. The latter is the reason. Not what you are posting above.

We simply did not have the economic or military might to leverage our position of Non-Aligned in an effective way. At the end of the day - economics.

We were too extravagent in our thinking and we paid the price. The so called Non-alignment was always tilted in Favour of USSR as Indira had to pay the cost to KGB for killing Shastri.

Whatever Actions we took after February
Are Now Irrelevant for the Civilian population Like us

There is An Entirely New Chapter that has been opened post August 5

If we caused a lot of Material and Human losses before August 5 , that will definitely Act as a Dissuasive Deterrent for them

We Refused to Join the US camp after Independence Purely for Economic Reasons

We were a very poor country and Capitalist model of development was Not an option for us because that would have created a Few Super Rich families Owning the entire economy and Entire Country

Vacating some posts is not bad.we can capture it again.it is clear that they are empty.you will not reveal the details of aggression you are facing.you also have similar condition.i mean your army recovered items from that guru festival route.we have infiltrated deep but you will not accept it.you always talk about your army and how they are beating us.

Man, I was hoping that there would not have been a great dissonance between what is happening on ground and the bold part.

Had that, the bold portion, been a reality, we would have moved in PoJ&K by now. The problem is, your frontline has simply vacated their forward posts and moved back and are absolutely not doing anything that allows us any excuse to cross the LC.

Recall your leadership claim that abrogation of Article 370 made Simla Agreement irrelevant? But yet, Pakistan did nothing to actually make that proclamation a fact. We are just hoping that you do something daft. It will happen. With the stunt with civilians you have tried.

Hard facts. The moderator on other forum could not get through her thick head something fact.

Kashmiris, by and large want freedom. Take a look at JKLF in your side right now. Look at what happened to your representatives in London. No one wants Pakistan. No one is an idiot.

I have been on the ground. Know what the population's view there is. If not independence, they are happy enough being in India. Watch the fun. You will see pro-Independence gain more traction on your side.

Baba is claiming killing of Lt. Col of Pakistan, let's see how credible it is, his last claim of killing some Col. after 27th Feb is yet to be verified.

We could have allied with the US and could still have followed a closed economic model built for producing local champions like south korea and Japan did... The US then was pretty open to the idea of its allies taking it for a ride by exploiting America's humongous market, to stand on their own feet..

Well, it takes quite a lot of time and money, to build the kind of security grid with a caliberated response to mob violence. Like the one India has built in Kashmir. Pakistan cannot send in the army to shoot up everybody.. On second thought, they just might like they did in Waziristan... But, India will be watching here... If they massacre people in Pok and if India marches into Pok citing the right to protect its citizens... It would be a sight to behold...

We could have done things differently

But there was massive Exploitation by the Private sector where ever possible
Whether it was Industrialists or Zamindars
Or Private Banks or Private Coal mines

As a result , Communism and Naxalism had started growing after 60s

This was countered by Socialistic policies of Congress party and a Mixed Economy model

If Communists had come to power in the Centre , we would have lost Democracy for ever

Don't think so.. it was tested again in May 2019. Doesn't look like the project is shelved. Test was done after balakot.. Maybe DRDO rectified the issues with roll and accuracy

What is DRDO’s inertial guided bomb and how it will boost India's defence capability

Last mention of Sudarshan in an official document. It's listed under closed.

It was supposed to be followed up by a new project NG-LGB with an increased stand-off range of 50km. Which may have gone in the backburner with the development of far better glide bombs. Which are nearing completion.

Sudarshan is a catchy name thats all. :)
