It is a 300 kw system.Where do we put our DEW stuff , again ?
This system is intended as quite large, see the EOI doc. Proper high power laser.

I think so.
It is hard to say with certainty, but it does appear LFRJ is connected to the STAR project.

Logically the eventual goal must be to replace the Russian ramjet engine on the Brahmos:

I have no idea what this other system he refers to, tbh.
Tangible hint of the upcoming Pinaka 120 km version in HEMRL tender for the igniter motor proof testing, as was also mentioned in the ARDE job

ARDE job specific was for 120 km & 300km range versions last month

tech specs are not known, but it is said to be modular system fitting the same pinaka pods, ie only interchange of pods needed, single launcher can carry all types of pods.120km will be 214mm?
300km will have to be bigger than 300mm.
Now rudram 2 won't get orders. Yet another indigenous system derailed by screwdrivegiri.
why ? for war use you should try to get as many types as you can afford, you can never know which would come handy. Now rudram 2 won't get orders. Yet another indigenous system derailed by screwdrivegiri.

B-05LV tested

That was the earlier plan to extend 214mm Pinaka's range upto 120kms, IIRC. But they could go for 300mm Rocket too as our desi-Smerch. 300mm rockets would be far more destructive than 214mm versions, so let's wait to know how they approach this.120km will be 214mm?
370mm, I guess!300km will have to be bigger than 300mm.
All three RudraM series missiles would get decent orders as they bring a unique capability boost which foreign analogues fail to match. In fact, we may even integrate RudraM-1 to Rafale(even export it) as Rafale still doesn't have a SEAD/DEAD ARM in its arsenal. Now rudram 2 won't get orders. Yet another indigenous system derailed by screwdrivegiri.
I don't think we have anything similar to this type of missile (ROCK) in our inventory or developed by DRDO. Rudram is an anti-radiation missile that is seeker-based, whereas this missile is an electro-optical-based anti-radiation missile and GPS Jam-proof.Now rudram 2 won't get orders. Yet another indigenous system derailed by screwdrivegiri.
the two systems cover different envelope, kinetic package & trajectory plus the use cases. So its more of a case of having your choice increased with tactical flexibility.Once license production starts indigenous systems won't get orders.
That su30 test was probably last week & has no bearing with todays SFc tests. SFC does not deal with tactical systems or range quoted. All SFC stuff are for > 500km warfare package. Todays test was b-05LV per one source & likely has composite tech infused in that , k-15 / shaurya both can theoretically have new carbon-carbon based airframe who knows. This is confusing :
I think there were two tests: one with K-15 and one with Israeli ROCKS. How can ROCKS be called ballistic missile.
The test igniter motor had this , the LRGR project was said to be of 300mm dia class, probably small % plus or minus maybe 10mm more or less.120km will be 214mm?
300km will have to be bigger than 300mm.
