Yep. That's the range objective.
Logic says the longer range version will use an IIR seeker as well. This capability is currently a gap in our inventory.
Yes. I'm guessing it's a high supersonic or hypersonic air breathing system.

Seems there has been some help given to the refinements that were required and there is renewed confidence now.
Responding to you. Astra now has a seeker which goes beyond AESA seeker due to the frequency it uses. No aircrfat in the world as on date has the ability to either pick up its signature or jam it. The radar directing can be picked up but the target will never know that it has been locked on by the missile. It works in a very different band of frequency. If you can't hear it coming, you can't be forewarned and you can't even jam it. Hopefully, Rafale will be able to do it.

MLPGM is meant to be used from ballistic missiles, like Pranash, Prithvi, Pralay etc. It's an advanced warhead option for anti-armour role, perhaps more if the PGM's warhead comes in multiple flavours. The pics you posted are that of SANT testing, the aircraft carried version of the MLPGM. More like MLPGM was derived from SANT.
DRDO won't announce a separate project for it called LRCV instead. The "cruise" in LRCV is very important. Definitely no relation with MLPGM or SANT.
The pic I posted is MLPGM . It has no relation with SANT .
Model of SANT was wrongly labelled as MLPGM and hence the confusion plus PKS wrongly identified it as SANT.
Pic of SANT is available compare it with the pic I posted of MLPGM to see the obvious differences .
Even a blind person will note the difference , the mid section wings of MLPGM are positioned closer to the rear , while in SANT it is positioned in the mid region of the body .
I had the CAD model of MLPGM and so I know it has no connection with SANT .
As for LRCM I explicitly mentioned " my guess " for a reason .
And MLPGM can be carried on any mother missile , ballistic or cruise depending on the payload and configuration of the same . So your assertion that it is only for ballistic missile is moot .

They look exactly the same. Literally, just different stickers.
What I believe is the inside will be slightly different, the FCS. One for stationary/low speed release while the other is for high speed release. Of course, the MLPGM may be specifically developed with a multipurpose warhead as well, for infantry, static targets and soft targets. The two designations may be no different than the Hellfire-L and Hellfire-R.
Now, in the first pic you posted, of a SANT being launched from the Mi-35, you seem to be confused by the IIR version of SANT instead. The nose design of the MMW version is different from the IIR version. But the second pic, for the MLPGM with MMW seeker is exactly the same as the SANT with MMW seeker. So what's different is the MLPGM was fired from a Lakshya drone because the missile is meant to be used from fighter jets hence the need for a high subsonic drone as a carrier. (I didn't dispute this, just pointing out that both missiles are the same).
Oh, you can't dismiss design changes, but the projects are one and the same.
But my main interest is the LRCV.
The PGM/ATGM programs are under PGM Kapadia, I don't think he has the kind of security clearance required to work on a program like the LRCV, which is practically a black project. So, yes, right now it's all guesswork. But it's something big, not something connected to a small project like MLPGM or SANT or such. "Long range cruise" is simply a very different definition for it to be linked to PGMs and ATGMs. I am merely trying to say the two systems are separate and shouldn't be linked.
Instead of indulging in needless arguments I have posted the pics of MLPGM and SANT for the viewers to decide for themselves.

Also note the protruding exhaust cone ( barely visible in red ) in SANT but absent in MLPGM.
SANT is a long range missile ~ 20 km
MLPGM is a short range missile < 5 km ( exact range I am not aware )
So I leave the decision to the viewer's , either way I am not concerned , no offense.
