The range can be altered by the change in Fuel qty and Warhead qty, These are turbofan based missile ...wait naval version was going to have range of 1500km is this army version.
Why develop a whole new missile with the same range when Nirbhay's intended range was 1000km!!New missile under development based on Nirbhay.

Because this missile is a dual speed cruise missile using both turbo fan and ramjet engine. Why develop a whole new missile with the same range when Nirbhay's intended range was 1000km!!
No idea
all I know is its name and that it uses a RF seeker
If I guess range should be 150+ km
Anyone heard of this
DRDO project " LRCV " - long range cruise vehicle
what is this?Anyone heard of this

Defence Ministry also cleared the acquisition of 248 Astra Beyond Visual Range air to air missiles for the Indian Air Force and the Navy
50 already ordered, now around 250 order mostly for Mig - 29s and MKIs
@Falcon you were saying that it needs further refinement before big order. The order means all problems solved and now we have a missile better than AIM-C5 fielded by PAF.
Responding to you. Astra now has a seeker which goes beyond AESA seeker due to the frequency it uses. No aircrfat in the world as on date has the ability to either pick up its signature or jam it. The radar directing can be picked up but the target will never know that it has been locked on by the missile. It works in a very different band of frequency. If you can't hear it coming, you can't be forewarned and you can't even jam it. Hopefully, Rafale will be able to do it.Seems there has been some help given to the refinements that were required and there is renewed confidence now.
what is this?

No concrete information on it .
My guess some sort of long range carrier missile
I hope you heard of MLPGM ( missile launched precision guided munition )

Multiple MLPGMs per carrier missile as payload for distributed delivery over target area inorder to take out multiple targets with high kill probability.
MLPGM is meant to be used from ballistic missiles, like Pranash, Prithvi, Pralay etc. It's an advanced warhead option for anti-armour role, perhaps more if the PGM's warhead comes in multiple flavours. The pics you posted are that of SANT testing, the aircraft carried version of the MLPGM. More like MLPGM was derived from SANT.
DRDO won't announce a separate project for it called LRCV instead. The "cruise" in LRCV is very important. Definitely no relation with MLPGM or SANT.

What about NASM-SR ?The size looks like a sort range missile but I don't see the booster maybe they will add it for ground launch testThe pic I posted is MLPGM . It has no relation with SANT .
Model of SANT was wrongly labelled as MLPGM and hence the confusion plus PKS wrongly identified it as SANT.
Pic of SANT is available compare it with the pic I posted of MLPGM to see the obvious differences .

Even a blind person will note the difference , the mid section wings of MLPGM are positioned closer to the rear , while in SANT it is positioned in the mid region of the body .
I had the CAD model of MLPGM and so I know it has no connection with SANT .
As for LRCM I explicitly mentioned " my guess " for a reason .
And MLPGM can be carried on any mother missile , ballistic or cruise depending on the payload and configuration of the same . So your assertion that it is only for ballistic missile is moot .
