BJP supporters are a relaxed lot and they do not venture out for bypolls as often as muslims. These losses are immaterial. let us wait for General Elections when the turnout is really high. And the GE will have parties arranged against eachother with each regional chieftain fighting to be PM of India. Kairana results have clearly shown that Hindu voters stayed at home for whatever reason and muslims voted enmass just like Araria. This will change in 2019 GE. However it seems that Sharia Court is high on Malana weed and can't see what is happening in Bengal.

Listen to Chnadan Mitra (BJP) on NDTV right now. He says today's setback is serious and BJP needs to reflect on how to move forward. 2019 is not a cakewalk anymore. We have a big fight on our hands- this is BJP spokesperson

What you do not know is the game which NaMo is playing. He is a seasoned politician and so is Amit Shah. BJP wants GST returns and income to stabilise by oct 2018. After that they will bring it under GST and in one shot take away all the advantage from opposition. I always told you that it is not the Khareef but the Rabi crop which makes a difference to our farmers as that happens to be their second crop of the Indian monsoon cycle.

You have less than 1 year for elections buddy....I don't think there is any grand plan here. NDTV debate touched upon a great point- high petrol prices are probably to shore up cash for a large number of sops they are planning to give before 2019 elections. But the price levels have gone so high it might have given irreparable damage to him. Plus modi's reputation for corruption has been offsetting the crappy image that congress has had. They won one of the 11 declared seats.
