2 things.

1. You are now saying Rahul Gandhi's leadership potential is due to SP winning Gorakhpur seat in a by-election. Going by this logic, Akhilesh should be a better candidate to take over the Congress. He has been a CM, successully fought of dissent from strongmen withing the SP, displayed his political acumen by making peace with Mayawati and lately told the Congress to accept what is provided in 2019 in UP. Hell, Kejriwal is better. He won Delhi, gave a tough fight in Punjab and is actually doing work. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi does what he does best. Getting Congress beaten everywhere. I swear, he is the best asset the BJP has ever had.

2. When you start using a by-election, won by another party, to rationalise the position of a President of a national party and that too the Congress, the writing is on the wall. The regional parties are going to make mince meat out of you. Forget the BJP. Your main existential threat is going to come from the SP,BSP and TMC.

FYI, have worked very closely with behind the scenes top Congressmen from 2008 to 2013 years in Tilak bhavan and Gandhi Bhuvan in Mumbai. Am still in good touch with them. So that should tell you, how much of a bhakt I am. And let me assure you, their logic resonates with what I am saying. Till Pappu is there, we cannot win. This is what they said. Not me.

So obviously no logical answer. Am part of a family/group which funds elections. For both parties. BJP and Congress. So let me assure you, my knowledge of politics far exceeds yours, which seems to be purely sloganeering and PR for someone who REALLY needs it. We put our money where our mouth is. BJP or Congress makes no difference to me. Whichever government is in power, they make more money.

Anyways, since you brought it up. Akhilesh will not give more than 15 seats to the Congress in UP. This is upper limit, I mean stratospheric limit. Let's do a Rs 10,000 bet on it. Are you ready for this?

And if you think, Akhilesh, Mayawati, Tej and Mamta are going to let Rahul be the PM, you have something really bad waiting for you in 2019. The PM candidate will be from the SP or a third person from the Congress. The quicker Rahul Gandhi is ditched by the Congress, the faster will be the rise of the Congress. But, well people like you seem to fall at his feet because he seems to think everything is a bee hive.

This verdict from SC is incomplete verdict and no decision whatsoever can be taken on all those contentious issues for which Khujli has been doing drama. SC has only given a verdict on article 239AA of constitution and stated that other issues will be decided by regular bench of SC. There are already 11 different cases before various bench of SC. Not only that, SC has not even stayed or reversed the order passed by Delhi HC.

You surpassed randomradio in optimism. Congress will have multiple orgasms if they are allowed to contest on 5 seats in UP, it will be dream come true for them. Akhilesh want to give only and only 2 and that's take it or leave it offer. They have literally bend over backwards to get to 5.


The problem is this thag bandhan got thieves of all kind and with so many parties in fray the bigger parties wont really have enough seats to contest to play any role at all on national level. Ajit Singh will demand 10 and will get around 4 or even 5, congress I don't think will be part of collation. Both SP and BSP won't go into alliance if they got less than 35 seats each, even at 35 they will be cringing as it will remove 90 candidates from SP and BSP combined who were either no 1 or no 2 in past 2 election. There is and will be exodus of these candidates and will get ticket from BJP. I will be surprised if BJP reissue ticket to more than 40 candidates. There will be rebel electable candidates in good number for BJP and also ground level, small time cadre of both SP, BSP is already moving towards BJP. After all these parties are not ideology based but power based and so is worker and candidate of them.

BJP was not so strong in rural areas due to lack of party cadre and workers now this alliance will help BJP in that field for sure as they will be getting readymade infrastructure. Even in Kairana good number of local leaders from BSP and SP joined BJP which media didn't cover so as not to disturb narrative of opposition unity. I frankly expected a loss of no less than 2.5 lakh but when it was mere 40 thousand it will be music to BJP ears. That seat had everything that make BJP lose its deposits, very strong population of SP BSP voters, RLD historical dominance, diesel petrol prices at high and a very stupid very very stupid message less campaign of BJP, complete support from every party, media in overdrive to make modi lose. It was perfect recipe for disaster but the result was shocking, media may not report it, ppl may brush it under the carpet but everyone deep into electoral politics saw what happened.


Even without this alliance it will be nothing short of miracle if BJP won 50 seats in UP, now with alliance they may reduce it a bit to 40 or something but will help BJP massively in creating party infrastructure. Don't know why Akhilesh chose this path. He would have got similar seats even without alliance but with BSP done and dusted forever. A very short term move, more focused on survival sacrificing future prospects. Conversion of BSP vote to SP and more so of SP to BSP is not an easy task as the caste based support of both parties have always been enemy of each other with deep wounds alot of them will chose BJP as lesser evil than voting for enemy.

His body was shipped off to Native Telangana and nobody from your Congress HQ attended his funeral! What a shame! for the man who saved Indian Economy in 90's. I come from a Congress family, My father was Osmania University Student President for 3 terms and built the first Youth Congress in AP. Ex-MP Hanumantha Rao from Congress was a Van driver in OU,he was propped up to be a MLAby my father, he even wrote the speeches for him.. now he is the Main talker and face of Congress in Telangana , but their Anti-Hindu ideas, especially after Sonia took over is what made many people leave. What is Congress now is a just a bunch of Anti-Hindu Politicians and ideas. If Congress will cast out this Gandhi Family, specially Sonia, Rahul,Priyanka,Along with Ghulam Nabi Azad, Chidambaram.Ahmed Patel and Sonias coterie, then Congress might get a chance, otherwise it is futile to even try. Pappu is actually drug addict and might be somewhat retarded.
